Don’t you love it when you come across a design that has it all? When I say “has it all”, one of my criteria is that it is simple to produce!! This is a design by Jan McMullen, and we made it in a sample swap in December. It is fun and trendy, and her original design used the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. It has a little bling, but not too much to mail. I just love everything about it!
The stems shown here are from Too Kind, but you can use what you have or even make stems with your markers. We also used the stems from Love & Sympathy in a version of this card.
Last week in Card Buffet, we made this card in Island Indigo with the Watercolor Designer Series Paper. You can see that the possible color and paper combinations are endless for this design.
I will have it available in Tangerine and Pear in my upcoming Greetings a la Carte class. The greetings are from Sassy Salutations, and my Card Buffet attendees came up with an alternate design that fits the birthday greeting, shown below in my new Tangerine version.
