Off the Grid and New Photopolymer Sets

Off the Grid

This was a popular card in last week’s Card Buffet, and it is a good example of how a background stamp gives you a base for just a few elements.  I particularly like the fact that Off the Grid (Annual Catalog p 108, $11.95) has ragged edges and an irregular pattern – you don’t even have to stamp it perfectly!

Stampin’ Up! released two new photopolymer sets, Sweetie Pie and Sweetie Pie frames, $13.95 each.  You can see the images on the pdf below.

If you are hesitant about buying clear stamps (as I was!), our photopolymer stamps will change your mind.  Stampin’ Up! has put considerable effort into finding the best quality photopolymer stamps.  They are not squishy, like some of the cheap clear stamps you will find at your local craft stores.  They stamp a sharp clear image, and they are super-sticky!  No worries about these guys falling off your blocks.  The other obvious advantage is ease of placement.

Tomorrow’s card will be another Easter Chick – perfect for Throwback Thursday because my Dad also found pictures of our chick-hatching experiences in the late 70’s.
