More Goodies from Club

First, a sentiment that we can all relate to.  Jan brought these adorable S’more kits to club this month.  The tag says:

“I will not buy any

more paper until I use

what I have in my stash,”

I said…

AND THEN I

LAUGHED & LAUGHED!

ALWAYS ROOM

FOR S’MORE!

Here’s a better look at the whole kit – the box has compartments for each item.  We got a kick out of these!

This was one of our club projects.  It is a fun fold that fits in a standard envelope, and it shows off one of our Easter sets, “For Peeps’ Sake”.

The flap tucks under the chick piece at the lower left.  If you make this card, I recommend adding that piece last, as you close up the card, to get it in the right place.  Create the whole built-up chick piece first – scallop circle, dimensionals, 1 3/8″ circle, and 1 1/4″ circle – then attach it to the card, taking care to catch the edge of the flap.

Do you notice the Irresistibly Yours designer paper?  On the Wisteria card, it is stamped first with “Positively Chevron” and then sponged.  On both cards, the stamping and sponging were done with Pool Party.  The stamp on the Pool Party card is from “Snuggles and Smooches”.

Irresistibly Yours is one of the FREE products you can choose with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.  It is white with embossed patterns, and you can use it as is or add color as I did.

Sorry, I seem to be giving the directions in reverse order today – that should keep you on your toes!  The card base is a half sheet of cardstock, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 8 1/2″.  The picture below shows the base, opened up.

Make a hole to thread the larger scallop circle through with your 2 1/2″ circle punch or a similar size in the circle framelits.  That hole is centered on the 8 1/2″ score line.
