For Peeps’ Sake

This week’s Create with Connie and Mary Challenge is a fun sketch.

I saw that circle as a window through the front panel, kind of like a peep hole.  I decided to peep at a chick from “For Peeps’ Sake.”

There’s not much to the front panel – you can see the window better in the photo below.

Start with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Pool Party designer paper.  Punch a 2″ hole in the lower left corner of the designer paper and attach it to the card front.  (You can slip ribbon under the upper left corner as you attach the designer paper, or just leave that corner free of adhesive until you are ready to add ribbon.)

Then using the 1 1/2″ circle framelit, cut the window through the card front.

Make a frame for the window out of Blushing Bride – punch a 1 3/4″ circle first, and then a 2 3/8″ scallop circle around it.  Add ribbon and flowers.

The fun part is stamping the inside panel.  Use the window as a guide for the chick – I made some pencil marks to show where the window lines up with the Whisper White mat before stamping.  My inside panel is shown below.
