I saw the colors in this week’s Create with Connie and Mary Challenge as masculine, and I went with that first impression because I always have a shortage of guy cards.
“BIRTHDAY” is from the Crazy About You bundle, which I have been using like crazy! It is heat embossed with white embossing powder. The big letters for “HAPPY” are cut with the Perfect Print Alphabet Bigz dies – I thought the block letters suited this card better than the script thinlits from the bundle.
The envelopes and hearts are from the photpolymer set “Lovely Amazing You”, and I used a punch from the Little Labels Punch Pack for my stamps.
The designer paper on the lower half of the card is from the Adventure Bound designer paper stack. The Washi tape is Epic Day, mounted first on a Whisper White strip to show off its bold stripes.
I designed this card last week, well before I saw the Retiring List. The letter dies, punch pack and Washi tape are all on the chopping block! I guess that means more room in the new catalog for great new items.
