Friends & Flowers Favors

Friends & Flowers

You can create this cute bunny with the “Friends & Flowers” set and coordinating Festive Flower Punch.  I used his little egg-shaped home as a tag, but it could be placed on a card just as easily.  We made these treats in our Team Meeting this weekend – the bag is our Polka Dot Cone Cello Bag with a mix of Cheddar Chex Mix, Candy Corn, Cadbury Eggs, and M&Ms.

Here’s a closer look at the tag.  The egg is made of two ovals, one cut from Tempting Turquoise, and one cut from Tempting Turquoise designer series paper.  I used the Oval Framelit that measures about 2 1/2″ across (shorter dimension).  It is the 4th of the 7 Oval Framelits, counting from smallest or largest.

I made the bunny by stamping and punching two heads.  One is tucked behind the hole in the designer paper so that the facial features are hidden.  The hole is a 1 3/4″ circle.  Those perfect little cheeks on the bunny were stamped with the eraser end of a pencil.

The grass is Cucumber Crush Cotton Paper cut with the fringe framelit from the Pyramid Pals thinlits.  The rest of the supplies are listed at the end of this post.

I also used the bunny on this treat wrap, made from the largest of the Circle Framelits.  I got this idea from Erica Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs.  She made these wraps for Valentine’s Day – click here to see her Valentines along with video instructions.  I will repeat the dimensions below.

Score circle at 3/4″, 1 1/4″, 3 1/2″ and 4″.  Turn 90 degrees and score at 3 1/2″ and 4″.  Cut out corners as shown and create box bottom.

Wrap with designer paper, 2″ x 6″, scored at 1 3/8″, 1 7/8″, 4 1/8″ and 4 5/8″.

Have a great Monday!
