Stampin’ Up!’s annual convention starts tomorrow, and while I am not going, a group of my swaps are!! My demo friend, Amy Kunkle, has graciously offered to do extra swapping while she is there. So, I can’t wait to see what I get back!!
I came up with a simple design for two reasons. The first, I wanted to create a lot of them. But second, and more importantly, simple layouts are inviting and easy to recreate. It is not so simple that it doesn’t have some eye-catching features, though. The scoring and colored rhinestones make it interesting. This is a great card for a Stamp a Stack, or to make up in sets for gifts.
The inspiration for this card is one of our new Designer Series Papers, Birthday Basics. Fun colors, fun prints, easy to use! Here is a closer look…
The Bermuda Bay mat measures 4″ x 5 1/4″, and is scored at 1/8″ between 4″ and 4 1/2″ on the long side, and between 2 3/4″ and 3 1/4″ on the short side. The piece of DSP is 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″. My greeting is from Chalk Talk, and it is cut with the Chalk Talk framelits. You could easily use an image on a punched circle, with a scallop circle backing. I colored my rhinestones with Sharpies.
Thanks for looking!!
