I have an assortment of ideas to post today – these cards were all in Card Buffet last week. The first uses By the Tide along with some retired designer paper and a Tangerine Tango button from SAB. The lobster and fish are cut by hand, sorry – no punch for those!
This uses the hostess set, Simply Sketched. It is very simple, but I think the different textures make it interesting. Again, because this was in Card Buffet, I allowed myself to use retired products – I wish that flower trim had carried over!!
I meant to post this soccer ball with my Six-Sided Sampler post to show another way the Honeycomb folder can be used. I hand cut the black hexagons from an embossed piece of black cardstock. You could make a golf ball instead by using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.
And last but not least, this cute little lion that I saw on Pinterest by Patty Bennett. The mane and feet are from the blossom punch, the face is a 1 3/8″ circle, and the cheeks are 3/4″ circles. The heart and eyes are from the owl punch. If you have any More Mustard (retired) scraps, they are the perfect color for the mane!
Thanks for looking!
