This was one of our club projects last night. The frame is from the Peekaboo Frames Bigz L die – there are 5 different interactive windows on the die. Instead of having the flap swing open, I added a pull piece so that it slides. It is shown pulled open in the picture below. This is an idea that was presented at Convention this summer.
The frame pieces and assembly are as shown below.
Once you have this frame piece, simply attach it to your project pieces, being careful not to get any adhesive under the right side of the frame. The pull piece must be free to move.
This project also uses the Birthday Candles Jumbo Wheel, except instead of using it as a wheel, I have mounted it for use on my acrylic blocks (block I). The rubber image pulls off the wheel very easily, and it can be mounted to our Clear-Mount Cling Foam. I find it easier to use the wheel stamps this way.
The block is just a little shorter than the rubber, so I took the extra length from the wheel, which amounted to 2 candles, and made two individual cling stamps (not shown). This is a great way to go if you don’t want the fuss of a wheel stamp. There are so many great wheel images that can be used this way.
