Here is a closer look at the Gift Card Holders we are making in today’s class. I want to highlight two of the beautiful single stamps that are available. The round ornament uses Christmas Star. It has been cut out, scored and folded each way so that it can be forced up into a 3D accent. It is attached to the center of the ornament with three stacked dimensionals.
There is a pocket on the back for a gift card, attached with just a skinny line of Tombow glue on the curved edge.
I think I have shown the next design below, when discussing the chevron bags. Terri Meehan taught me this design at a team meeting. The open end of the chevron bag is cut so that it is 6″ long, and 2″ is folded up to make the pocket for the gift card.
The bag itself is also a pocket for the note card, stamped with Be Merry, another of the great single stamps.
The card stock for the note card measured 4″ x 4 7/8″ and the white layer is 3 7/8″ x 4 3/4″. The little loop of ribbon that you can see in the top picture is stuck in between the layers.
Here is a look at the single stamps that are still available now.
