I also wanted to share the projects we made at our team meeting this past weekend. They are both inspired by projects from the Leadership Conference.

Sara Douglass presented a version of this Mini Muslin Bag using the Eye-Catching Ikat Photopolymer stamp set. She stamped in Daffodil and Tangerine, which was striking! I made our version into a Valentine’s project with Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush.

Just a tip about stamping with the Classic Pads – the ink takes a while to set, and the colors smudge easily in the meantime…learned this the hard way 🙂 I recommend using an iron, with a scrap of fabric between your project and the iron, to heat-set the color instantly.

Tags of any length are so easy now with the Tag Topper Punches, and I just used a mix of texture and trims to finish it off.

The second project we did is an exact CASE of the Make & Take presented by Brian Pilling. The Vivid Vases are stamped with StazOn on watercolor paper and colored with an aquapainter and ink from the stamp pads.
