Here are two more Leadership-inspired projects. On the left, my version of the Monster Hugs Valentines that are available thru January 27 or while supplies last. They are designed so that you can attach candy to the monster’s belly and wrap her arms around it. A Hershey Nugget fits perfectly, but I have added a little box bottom instead, made from the largest Starburst framelit shape. Monster Hugs also come in blue, and in either case you get 18 monsters with googly eyes and adhesive hearts for $5.95.
On the right, a fun idea presented by Brandi Barnard at Leadership. I used a clear envelope to create a pocket behind the Polaroid frame, and I filled it with confetti and hearts. I made the confetti with our fringe scissors. What a great use of scraps, and fun!
Both of these projects will be in my “Special Valentines” class on February 6 and 8.
