If you are following a sketch or copying a layout and you plan to use designer paper, I suggest that you pick a pattern that fits your occasion first. In this example, I started with the multicolor chevron from the Watercolor Wonder designer paper because I knew it would be great on a baby card. That small (2″x4″) piece of designer paper defined the color scheme, and I simply picked elements to coordinate – like the cardstock mat, ink colors and ribbon.
Have a great day!
