This project makes me happy because each set of note pads uses several patterns of designer paper from its respective designer paper collection, and I love the coordination! These are 5″ x 8″ memo pads – the ones in the back row are made with a retired Halloween paper, the front row uses this year’s Motley Monsters. This is definitely a “use what you have” kind of project – we all have designer paper scraps laying around!
The stamps are also a mixed bag of old and new. The stamp set for the creatures is the retired “Googly Ghouls” while the “BOO!” is one of this month’s Paper Pumpkin stamps.
Here’s a closer look:
The candy corn pattern that wraps the top measures 2″ x 5″. The tags are punched with the new Note Tag punch (Holiday Catalog, p 13, Item 135860 $16.95). The paper in the pen barrel is 3/4″ x 3 3/8″. I added a tab so that the pen would stay with the pad. The designer paper on the tab is 1″ x 4″ and the cardstock is 1 1/4″ x 4″. I simply made a loop and attached it to the cardboard back.
Have a great weekend!
