This looks like your average A2 size card, but the square on the front is actually cut out of the card base and attached to an accordion-fold piece on the inside . The next two pictures show how it pulls open.

This is a card type that is much more impressive than it is difficult – my favorite type! We made this in club this month, and everyone agreed on this point.
Start with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Basic Black card base, scored at 4 1/4″. Using the 3 1/4″ square framelit, cut a square out of the front of the card base. Decorate the square as desired, and set it aside. I used a Melon Mambo and Calypso Coral Flower with Pear Pizzazz leaves on a square of the Botanical designer paper.
Attach a 4″ x 5 1/4″ mat of Calypso Coral to the inside of the card.
Cut a piece of Whisper White 5″ x 6″, scored at 2″ and 4″. Stamp this piece as desired for the inside, and then z-fold on the score lines. Attach only the right panel to the right side of the Calypso Coral mat.
Fold the Whisper White piece flat against the Calypso Coral mat so that half of the Calypso Coral mat shows. Close the card front – the Whisper White will show through the right half of the square opening.
Attach the decorated square to the portion of the Whisper White that shows through the opening. Add a tab (made with the Banner Punch) to the left edge of the decorated square to use as a pull tab.
Leave me some feedback if you need more detail or a video on this. It is a really impressive card, and fun to make. Have a great weekend!
