I have a super-easy way to add a pocket to a greeting card, and you can make it for any occasion. I am showing it here for Christmas with designer paper from the Be Merry collection and a greeting from “Merry Cafe”.
The top portion of the card front flips up to reveal a gift card sticking out of the present. The pocket is made from a 3″ x 3″ mini envelope.
There is a space on the inside for a message. The video below shows how I make this card. If you are receiving this blog post as an email, click here for the video.
Here are the dimensions:
Crumb Cake Card Base 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 3″ and 8 3/8″
Be Merry Designer Paper 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
Garden Green cardstock 1″ x 3 1/2″
Be Merry Designer Paper strips 3/8″ x 1″ and 3/8″ x 3 1/4″
Whisper White insert 4″ x 3 1/8″
