I made three easel card layouts on last night’s Facebook Live. The first is shown above, decorated with products from the upcoming Butterfly Bouquet Suite. Products from this suite will be available on March 2, as an early release from the upcoming Annual Catalog.
This post is meant as a supplement to last night’s Facebook Live. I am presenting the pictures and dimensions are here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. The cards fold flat to mail. The six butterflies featured on these two cards are cut from the designer paper. One of the dies cuts six butterflies at once, and it lines up with both the stamp and one of the prints in the designer paper pack. Here’s a look at what will be available March 2…
Dimensions for this card are as follows…
- Thick Basic White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Basic White 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″, 4 1/4″
- Designer Paper 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 3″ x 4 1/4″
- Misty Moonlight or Calypso Coral 3 1/8″ x 4 3/8″
The second easel card has a smaller focal point on a similar easel, but the easel looks like a banner behind it. The prop piece on the inside is also the greeting piece.
The designer paper pieces on this card are from the upcoming Annual Catalog.
Dimensions are as follows…
- Thick Basic White 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
- Seaside Spray 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 1 7/8″, 3 3/4″
- Designer Paper 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 3″ x 3″
- Magenta Madness 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″
- Basic White – largest Stitched Square, approx 2 5/8″
My final easel card uses an easel piece of the same size as the one on the butterfly card, but the card is made in the opposite orientation. This is a CASE of a swap card I received from Candy Michael.
In this case, the easel props up a focal point that is smaller than the easel. I love how this turned out with a cute flower from Pretty Perennials and our Paper Blooms designer paper!
Dimensions are as follows…
- Night of Navy 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″, 4 1/4″
- Designer Paper (2) 1 1/4″ x 4″
- Petal Pink 2 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ and 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
- Basic White 2 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ and 2 1/4″ x 3 1/2″
These are all really fun layouts, and the best thing about them is that they can be used to showcase your favorite stamps and papers. I hope you will try them!
