My favorite thing about “Balloon Celebration” is the Balloon Bouquet punch that goes with it. You can make a bouquet in no time! This is a new bundle from the Occasions Catalog, with a whopping 28 stamps in the set. I am using it here with my favorite new paper stack – It’s My Party – and the coordinating baker’s twine and enamel dots. The colors and patterns say “Celebrate!”

Wink of Stella is a brush-tip glitter pen that you can used to accent stamped images. In this case, though, I used it to accent my wood greeting (Expressions Natural Element). It’s fabulous for applying glimmer just where you want it. It makes a big difference on a project, but it’s hard to photograph!
If you love the look (but hate the mess) of glitter, this is for you! It is available in Gold and Clear in our Occasions Catalog. I used gold here. There’s just a little splatter from the pen on this card, too. I tapped the pen against my bone folder, close to the tip, to create the splatter.
There are a few other new products here, too – the Wildflower Fields designer paper and stamped greeting from the stamp set “Hello”, either can be chosen for free from our Sale-a-bration Catalog with a $50 order . Also, the little flower is from the Bloomin’ Hearts thinlits.

These are fun colors, and I love what our team has done with them! I used a new set – “Friends and Flowers” – with the Festive Flower Builder Punch that was introduced in the Holiday Catalog.
The fish is just one of the non-flower figures you can create with this set. The designer paper is from the Perfectly Artistic collection, one of the items you can choose for FREE with a $50 purchase during Sale-a-bration. The vegetation was cut with one of the Botanical Builder framelits. The stalks are sponged, and I also added Wink of Stella to the leaves to make them glisten – a fact that is hard to appreciate in the picture!

I am still loving these “Snow Place” characters from the Holiday Catalog, and the good news is this – they are still available. The stamps and framelits are just one of seven bundles held over from the Holiday Catalog. You can see these favorites on page 48 of the Occasions Catalog. You will find some other Holiday Catalog products sprinkled through the Occasions Catalog as well.
Unfortunately, that great designer paper I used for the background is no longer available, but I do want to point out the new greeting. There are some fabulous greetings in the new “Rose Wonder” stamp set, like this thank you.

The wait is almost over! Starting tomorrow, we can stop talking about Sneak Peeks because all of this great new product will be available in the online store.
Today I have another look at the Large Number Framelits bundle and It’s My Party suite. I also used the Party Pop-Up Thinlit again. This time it is on the inside of the card.
Such a fun surprise for the inside, isn’t it? I added a piece of designer paper behind the cut-out. This actually made it easier to fold and insert into the card base.
To do this, I started with a 5″ x 8″ piece of Whisper White cardstock, scored at 4″. I aligned the thinlit’s tabs with the score line, cut the cardstock, and removed the scrap pieces. I use the Precision Base Plate for these very intricate dies, and it works beautifully.
I applied glue to the back of this insert piece as shown in the picture, taking care not to put any glue on the section that pops up in the card. I then placed a 3 1/2″ x 4″ piece of designer paper onto the glue, making sure the “right” side was down so that it would show through the image.
Before folding and attaching the insert piece to a card base, I scored again over the score line that already existed on the Whisper White. This adds the score line to the designer paper. Then I carefully separated the pop-out section from the designer paper and carefully folded the insert as shown below before actually attaching it to the card base.

This is only one of two pop-up dies in this thinlit set. The other is a word bubble with the text “Hip Hip Hooray”. It can be used the same ways – as a pop-up on the insert or as a shape on the card front. So fun!

This is another sneak peek at the Large Number Framelit Dies, and this time I am using them with the coordinating stamp set, “Number of Years”. There are 29 photopolymer stamps in this set, including a separate “Happy”, “Birthday”, and “Anniversary” that you can group with the numbers and “st”,”nd”,”rd”,etc – you get the idea!
I am using this bundle with “It’s My Party” designer series paper, from a new suite that includes 12 double-sided 12″x12″ sheets and coordinating embellishments.
You can see another fun pattern from that designer paper stack on the inside of my card – and the “Happy” and “Birthday” stamps put together. The new products will be available starting January 5.

I turned this week’s sketch on its side to better suit my elements. I was excited to use some of the great new birthday products that will be available from our Occasions Catalog on January 5.
Everything but the solid cardstock is new. The “It’s My Party” suite offers the designer paper, washi tape, baker’s twine, and my favorite – the enamel dots. I CASEd the catalog (page 7) for my centerpiece. I used the Party Pop-Up thinlit to cut watercolor paper, and then I colored it with an aquapainter. The colors are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, and Mint Macaron.

One of the thinlits in this set cuts a fun length of positive and negative leaves. On the card above, you can see the designer paper showing through on one side of the stem.
