Tea Room

I decided to give “Time for Tea” a bright pop of color here with Poppy Parade, Pineapple Punch, Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana.  The Tea Room Suite offers more than a great tea theme – those round scalloped framelits and flower garlands can go anywhere!

If you need any of our fabulous products, I would love to have your business in the online store.  Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a package of our Glitter Enamel Dots from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program.

Delightfully Detailed

Our pretty new Delightfully Detailed Specialty Paper makes a great backdrop for this sentiment from “Detailed with Love”.  I have also used a few stamps from “Banners for You”.  I stamped the banner piece in Coastal Cabana and then cut it in half so that I could make it look wider under the greeting.

The Lovely Lipstick flowers are also from “Banners for You”.

Today is the last day to order my July Class To Go – Varied Vases.  Simply place an order for the bundle (or make a $39.50 product purchase) with Hostess Code 4VWGCUQD to receive the class.  Click here for full details.

Dandelion Wishes

Dandelions are such an oddity.  Isn’t it peculiar that they can be a source of disgust in a landscape, and then turn into delicate and magical treasures?  Our new stamp set “Dandelion Wishes” definitely captures their desirable side!  The images are carefree and graceful, and the sentiments are so pretty.

I kept my card simple with a monochromatic look in Pool Party and a crisp black sentiment.  I didn’t want to overpower the images, so I used just a bit of designer paper and twine to make it special.

Grad Gift Card Holders

Even though this year’s graduation season is behind us, I wanted to show off how sharp our Broadway Bound designer series paper looks on these gift card holders.  I would also like to point out that the tassel is part of the Balloon Framelits collection that is still available on the Clearance Rack for $10.20 🙂

This is one of my favorite designs for gift card holders – the insert has a pocket for a gift card.  I’ll attach a video below that shows how to make this style of card.  The “Congrats Graduate” stamp is retired.

The cap is easily made with two punches of the Tailored Tag Punch.

Hold onto the first punched piece with a Post-It note (or flag, as I am using here).

Punch a second time to make a diamond.

Fourth of July Projects and More!

These Fourth of July projects from last night’s Facebook Live could easily be made into birthday projects.  They use the new stamp sets “Birthday Backgrounds” and “Blow Out the Candles”.  I chose Blueberry Bushel and Lovely Lipstick for this seasonal look, but they could be made in any colors.

I used the candles from “Blow Out the Candles” as firecrackers on my tag.  I covered the flames with sparkles punched from one of the “Birthday Background” stamps.

I also used the “firecrackers” to decorate my Tiny Treat Box.  The designer paper strips around the bottom measure 1″ (Blueberry Bushel) and 5/8″ (Lovely Lipstick).

This is the Fourth of July version of my card.

And here’s the birthday version.

My final project last night was a stamped White Gable Box.  I stamped with “Painted Harvest” in the same color combination as some of last week’s cards (click here for last week’s post).  The colors are Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz and Gray Granite.

I hope these pictures make a good supplement to last night’s Live.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, or check out the video on Facebook.  I would also be happy to answer any questions you may have on our upcoming Starter Kit special.  Email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com with questions or to set up a phone call.

New Annual Catalog Blog Hop

Welcome to the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop for June!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Chris Slogar) or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the projects.

This month we are highlighting projects made with the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalog.  I am using my favorite new suite, Garden Impressions, with a very simple layout.

This diagonal cut card looks great with any coordinating papers, in any theme!  I have been making it over and over with our coordinating papers.  For this card, I used Blueberry Bushel cardstock with two designer paper collections, Garden Impressions and the 2018-2020 In Color patterns.  The stamps are from “Abstract Impressions”.

The upper triangle flips up.

The lower triangle flips to the right.  To make the base, score an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in half both ways.  Then cut the cardstock on the diagonal.  The designer paper pieces measure 4″ x 5 1/4″, cut in half diagonally.  The Whisper White measures 4″ x 5 1/4″.

These are fun to make!  They are quick, and they look great with any coordinating papers.  Try it with your favorite papers and stamp sets.

Need a new catalog?  If you live in the US, and you don’t already have a Demonstrator, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com.  I would be happy to send you one!

Thanks so much for taking part in our blog hop today!  Remember that currently you are at my blog – Chris Slogar – so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next, and enjoy!

Botanical Bliss

The detailed tag thinlits in this bundle are great for more than tags – the lacy look is pretty on a card, too.  I cut the tag from one of the patterns in the Share What You Love designer paper collection, and I folded up the end to tuck under the Petal Pink mat (3 3/4″ x 5″).

I used a staple to hold the top of the tag and a length of ribbon in place; then I tied the bow.  I layered up an additional 1/2″ strip of designer paper with a lacy punched border strip and some leaves, also cut with the tag thinlit collection.  The greeting is stamped on a 1 3/4″ circle that is cut on one side.

If you need any of our fabulous products, I would love to have your business in the online store.  Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a package of our new Artisan Pearls from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program.
