Pick a Pumpkin

We have some really great things for fall this year in our 2017 Holiday Catalog – I can’t decide what I like better, this “Pick a Pumpkin” bundle or the popular “Painted Harvest”. They are both so great! The greeting on my card is from “Painted Harvest”.

The designer paper is from the Painted Autumn collection – how great to have a pop of Lemon Lime Twist in these papers!

Gift Card Present

I have a super-easy way to add a pocket to a greeting card, and you can make it for any occasion. I am showing it here for Christmas with designer paper from the Be Merry collection and a greeting from “Merry Cafe”.

The top portion of the card front flips up to reveal a gift card sticking out of the present. The pocket is made from a 3″ x 3″ mini envelope.

Night in Bethlehem

I was really excited to break out this set! “Night in Bethlehem” and the coordinating Bethlehem Edgelits Dies create a suprisingly easy “WOW” card. I stamped the rooflines in Crumb Cake, one at full strength and the second staggered from the first and stamped off. (Stamping off means tapping some of the ink from the stamp onto scrap paper before stamping onto the project. This creates a lighter image.)

Then I added a few gold elements, and they really steal the show – especially the detailed roofline cut with one of the edgelits. It’s so great when the materials create the “WOW” with so little effort!

Watercolor Christmas

These are the greetings from “Watercolor Christmas”, the stamp set that coordinates with our Christmas card kit by the same name. The bold pretty script on these large greetings steals the show on my simple cards. The black and white designer paper is from the Merry Music specialty collection; the red strip is from the Quilted Christmas collection.

I think my black and white cards are easy to make in great quantity, so they are great for Christmas. If you want something even quicker and easier, you can make 20 cards with our Watercolor Christmas kit and this stamp set. I completed all 20 cards from the kit in under 3 hours.

The kit makes five of each of these four designs, and it includes 20 envelopes lined with a luxurious gold foil. I will include these kit cards as an option in my “A la Carte” classes this fall.

Spooky Potions

The little detail stamps in “Spooky Cat” are great! You can fill this little trio of vials with three different colors of bubbling fluids…and the rat?! Love the rat! He’s going to make it into a lot of my Halloween projects.

Here’s a look at the whole set. I have only made a handful of projects with it, but I have already used all 18 stamps.

Merry Cafe – Holiday Version

As a follow-up to my non-holiday project using “Merry Cafe”, here are some really fun holiday gift card holders using the set. This one uses the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper with a Halloween cup sleeve.

These use the Quilted Designer Series Paper with a Christmas greeting on the sleeve.

These are the Circle Tab Gift Card Pockets that I have shown before. The Circle Tabs pull the gift cards out of the pockets. I will include my video instructions again here.

Anything but the Holidays Blog Hop

Maybe you are not quite ready for holiday projects. Or maybe you would like ideas to stretch your holiday products further. Either way, this blog hop is for you! Today we are using our Holiday Catalog products for non-holiday projects.

I chose to use “Merry Cafe”, sure to be a favorite stamp set for Fall, Halloween, Christmas and Valentine’s Day…but how about a Get Well card?

“Merry Cafe” coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelits, which we already know and love. The Berry Burst cup on my card is a stamped image from “Merry Cafe” as are the leaves stamped in Lemon Lime Twist. What a perfect sentiment for someone who needs a little boost.

These little cups are so cute! The navy cups are cut from the Delightful Daisy designer series paper.

You might not use the Perk Up sentiment for the holidays, but it is a great stamp to have! I have only used three stamps from the set of 29 to make this card. You can imagine the possibilities if you want to use them all. Here is a look at the set:
