I do have cards to share today (keep scrolling), but first an update for my email subscribers…
Thank you to my subscribers who signed up for the new service over the weekend! You will receive this post from both services today, but future posts will come from Mailchimp only.
If you missed the announcement on Friday…
Starting in July, the service I use to send my blog entries via email (Feedburner) will no longer perform this function. I am switching to Mailchimp to provide this service, but it requires a new signup. Please fill out the fields below if you would like to continue to receive posts by email.
If Mailchimp already recognizes your email address, or if you have any issues, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com, and I will make sure you are added. I apologize for any inconvenience.
I mentioned the additional “Watercolor Shapes” cards that I have been making on last week’s Facebook Live, but then I forgot to show them! I am loving those shapes as an anchor for my focal points – in this case, the Birthday Chicks.
These are such easy cards, with just a 1″ strip of designer paper and a fun-to-color image!
If you are interested in Hey Birthday Chick, please note that the stamps and dies have carried over to the new Annual Catalog, but the bundle price is only in effect through June 30.
The watercolor shapes make a nice backdrop too.
Thanks so much for checking out my cards today. If you need any of these fabulous products, I would so appreciate your order in my online store! You can also click on an item in the carousel below to be directed to a particular product.
Place a $35 order with Host Code D46QY7K3 in June, and I will send you a package of Genial Gems and a handmade card. This is my way of sharing the Stampin’ Rewards with you – I appreciate your business!!

Before we get to the shaker cards from last night’s Facebook Live…a reminder that Stampin’ Up! is offering FREE shipping today on orders of $50 or more! That makes today the perfect day to get any of those Last Chance items from the Jan-June Mini you have been meaning to get. Only a few items have sold out, and there are many 50% off items!
Also a note about items used today – stamps and dies from the Hey Chick bundle are retiring June 30. The stamps and dies from the Hey Birthday Chick bundle have carried over to the new Annual Catalog, but the bundle pricing is only good through June 30. These items were part of a special promotion, and you won’t find them on the Last Chance List.
Last night’s Facebook Live was inspired by this adorable card I received in our Team Swap from my upline, Mindy Gray. Don’t you just love everything about it – the cute turtle, the clear shaker, the bright colors and shaker shapes?
Mindy used a clear envelope to enclose the shaker shapes over the designer paper, and added a frame around it. This is similar to a method we have used before to make shaker cards with clear envelopes, but the difference here is the added frame over the top of the shaker – love this!!
The projects in this post are from last night’s Facebook Live. I am adding pictures and dimensions here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.
Thank you for any help you can give me in Likes, Shares, and orders in the online store. It is my goal to continue to bring you project ideas for free, and your support helps.
I made my version slightly different than Mindy’s in order to give you an additional idea. I used a larger section of clear envelope for my shaker card, and I also added a stamped image inside the envelope (stamped on Basic White 3″ x 4 1/4″).
The frames on all of these samples are made with different sizes of the Scalloped Contours and Stitched Rectangles dies.
I think these are really fun! The stamps are from “Watercolor Shapes” and “Biggest Wish”.
I also remade a version of Mindy’s card with a more traditional shaker frame, using a Window Sheet (2″ x 3 1/4″) and adhered to the card with foam adhesive strips. This method allows more movement in the shaker, but creates a thicker card. I thought this might be better suited for the addition of the larger shaker pieces – do you see the ears of corn I added?!

Welcome to the Trip Achievers Blog Hop for June! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Chris Slogar) or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along through all of the projects.
I am pulling together a few of my favorite new stamp sets and colors from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog on my card today.
The two new colors are Polished Pink and Fresh Freesia, which go great with two of my all-time favorites, Coastal Cabana and Night of Navy. The stamp sets are Biggest Wish, Watercolor Shapes, and Color & Contour.
It’s a simple card, and the layout lends itself to many different cards with the variety of greetings in the Biggest Wish stamp set (see below). I can’t get enough of this set!
Thank you for visiting my site. Please use the list below to continue to the next blog on the hop!
I made two fun folds last night, each with a card front that is cut short. On the left, the card base is folded at the bottom and a focal point is added on an additional flap. On the right, the majority of the card is the folded designer paper.
The projects in this post are from last night’s Facebook Live. I am adding pictures and dimensions here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. I used patterns from the Sweet Symmetry designer paper collection for this card. The stamps and die cuts are from the All Squared Away bundle.
Dimensions are as follows:
Just Jade 5 1/2″ x 6″, scored at 4 1/4″
Flirty Flamingo 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
Basic White 3 3/4″ x 5″
Designer Paper 1 1/4″ x 5″
Flirty Flamingo and Designer Paper scalloped rectangles from the largest two Stitched So Sweetly dies
I made the designer paper card with Beauty of the Earth designer paper and one of our new Paper Lattice elements. It adds great texture and pattern to a card front!
Dimensions are as follows:
Misty Moonlight 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Designer Paper 5 1/4″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 4″
Cinnamon Cider 3 1/4″ x 5″
Basic White 3 1/8″ x 4 7/8″
Both of these fun folds are really easy and very adaptable to other papers and themes. I hope you’ll give them a try!

I showed this fun fold last night on my Facebook Live. It is a Center Stair Step Card using a really great new stamp set – Measure of Love. The stamp set is shown below. It is a multi-step stamp set, and you can see that my focal point is a combination of seven stamps. The Stamparatus is your best friend with a set like this!
I am adding pictures and dimensions here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. In the video, I show in detail how to create the fun fold, and I show the steps I used on the Stamparatus. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.
Also as I mentioned last night, I am posting the Last Chance List for retiring product from the Mini Catalog. Many items, especially the dies, are 50 % off! Click here for the list. Shop early for best selection – all items are only available while supplies last.

The common thread in my cards from last night’s Facebook Live (besides the You’re a Peach Suite) is the large scalloped die in the background. It comes from the Scalloped Contour die set, and it makes such a great panel for matting designer paper!
All of the projects in this post are from last night’s Facebook Live. I am adding pictures and dimensions here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.

The first card I showed uses standard card base, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. As you can see, one of the Stitched Rectangles dies (the second largest) fits the scalloped die quite nicely.
I cut the designer paper on my next card to 3 9/16″ x 4 7/8″ so that just the outer edge of the scallops show.
This card is a z-fold, made exactly like the one shown in a previous Live (click here for that post), except that I substituted the scalloped die for a cut mat.
The Pale Papaya base measures 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″ and the Basic White mat measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″.
I like how this card stands for display – the front is slightly in front of the back panel, parallel to the back panel.
My next two cards are Twisted Easel Cards, propping up a full-size scalloped contour die in the first example, and a shortened scalloped square in the second example.
The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. scored at 4 1/4″. The twisted easel is made when a 45-degree diagonal score line is added from the fold of card (at bottom left of the card front) to the right edge (4 1/4″ from the bottom right corner).
I CASEd the catalog for my focal point. I used a piece of Basic White that measures 2 1/4″ x 3″ and a 1/2″ strip of designer paper.
My last card combines a bookbinding edge with the twisted easel. The card base is Balmy Blue, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 3/4″.
The designer paper is from You’re a Peach, but I used Floral Squares dies for the focal point on this card.
In this case, a diagonal score line is added from the edge of the flat section to the top right corner of the card. On this card, I added an embossed Balmy Blue mat (4 1/8″ square) behind the scalloped die piece. The designer paper pieces measure 3 9/16″ square and 1″ x 4″.
Sorry about the sixteenths in the measurements 🙂 I am basing those dimensions on the dies in the collection!
I have added a YouTube video below for this card only. It gives complete instructions on the fold and also on shortening the scalloped die piece to a square. If you are receiving this post in an email, click here for the video.

I have been making Arrow Fold Cards in many papers and themes lately, and I knew the layout would be great for a red, white and blue card. I made these cards donate to local Blue Star Moms, and I will also make this layout in red, white and blue for our July church ministry card, in a “thinking of you” theme.
The designer paper is from the Well Suited collection, and the greeting is from “Shaded Summer”.
The smaller triangles are attached to the inside panel of the card, along with a triangular Basic White piece for a message.
I showed the black/pink version in a previous post, made with paper from the Pattern Party collection and using the stamps/punch from the Sweet Strawberry bundle and Tailor Made Tags dies. I have a YouTube video now for this card type (below). If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.
With every retiring catalog, we have “Last Chance” opportunities – the list for the January-June Mini Catalog offers many 50% off items. Use the link below to check the list. This sale starts June 1 and quantities are limited.
Have you seen the beautiful Cards & Envelopes that are available to coordinate with the Hand-Penned Suite?! There are 20 printed cards and envelopes in a pack – cut and scored, and ready for a few finishing touches. I simply added the large Daisy Garden stamp in the background and a few trims with my greeting from Garden Birdhouses.

You can use the stamps of your choice – these flowers are from Shaded Summer.
I got the same effect here by stamping on the designer paper. This designer paper is from the Hand-Penned collection, and the stamps are from Garden Birdhouses.
Going back to the big Garden Daisy stamp, I made this easy set of note cards on our precut and scored Basic White Note Cards & Envelopes. I CASEd this project from a Stampin’ Up! presentation.
The little “thank you” greeting is from Timeless Tropical.
We have these fabulous new Ombre Gift Bags available in our 2021-2023 In Colors. The tag is cut with the Tailor Made Tags dies and the greeting is from Biggest Wish.
Here is the Fresh Freesia ombre bag – it holds a set of Sweet Strawberry thank you notes.
The colors here are Fresh Freesia, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive and Melon Mambo. And good news (!!!)… the Strawberry Punch is once again available in the online store!
