Welcome to the Trip Achievers Blog Hop for July! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Chris Slogar) or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along through all of the projects.
My card uses a fun new set that will be available from our upcoming August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. It is called “Flight of Fancy”, and it is a great set for coloring. It includes a witch, an angel, and cupid – I started with the witch…
She’s an adorable witch, and the sentiment is from another set that will be available from the new mini – “Banner Year”. There are some great little greetings in this set, along with small seasonal images that remind me of the Bingo Bits sets of the past.
The designer paper is also from the upcoming catalog. It is from the Snowflake Splendor collection. These products will be available starting August 4.
Thanks so much for checking out my card today! Please use the list below to visit all of the other participants’ sites.
My holiday catalog preorder brightened my spirits a bit this week, so I made a couple of holiday projects for this week’s Facebook Live. The first was this simple fun fold which uses products from the upcoming Snowflake Splendor Suite.
The card base is a standard 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Misty Moonlight, but it is scored at 4 1/4″ and 7 1/4″ – the second score creates a fold to flip back the right edge of the card front.
The designer paper on the front measures 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, and the embossed strip measures 1″ x 5 1/4″.
If you are not ready for holiday projects, you can make this card with any of your favorite designer papers! I love it with papers from the Playing with Patterns designer paper collection. The big greeting is from “Rooted in Nature”.
My second project was a gift card holder, shown here in two prints from the ‘Tis the Season collection. The new Gift Bow Builder punch is going to be a great “go-to” for holiday projects, but I think this project would also be great as a birthday present.
The “lid” of the box pulls a gift card from the box bottom. I will add a YouTube video for this project soon, but in the meantime, click here for last night’s Facebook Live.
Dimensions are as follows…
Shaded Spruce 5 1/2″ x 6″, scored at 3″ along the 6″ side. Also scored at 1/2″ from each edge along the 5 1/2″ side
Shaded Spruce 5 1/2″ x 3″, scored at 1 1/2″ along the 3″ side. Also scored at 1/4″ from each edge along the 5 1/2″ side
Shaded Spruce 4″ x 4 3/4″, scored at 1″ along the 4 3/4″ side
Whisper White 2″ x 3 3/4″
Designer Paper 2 7/8″ x 4 3/8″ and 1 3/8″ x 4 7/8″
****ADDED 7/21 YouTube Video of Gift Box Gift Card Holder***
I have added a YouTube video to my channel showing this version of the Gift Card Holder, made with Heartwarming Hugs designer paper.

It is with great sadness that I share the news of Chip’s passing. Chip has been our Buckeye Inklings mascot since Day 1, and I know he has a lot of fans in our stamping community. Please join me in bidding this Good Boy farewell…
This little guy came into our lives in December 2006, and he stole our hearts instantly. It’s hard to believe how little he and our girls were at the time. We have been looking at pictures all weekend, and they really tell the story of his important role in our family. Here are just a few…
From his first bath, to our move, and vacations…
To the holidays…
To our special events, and his special days…
To the crafting…
We all grew up together. I only wish he could have stayed with us longer…and I hope that we gave him even half the happiness he brought us. Rest well, Chip. You were always a very Good Boy.
I got a new bundle this week, so of course I was anxious to try it out! My card barely scratches the surface of what you can do with the whopping 15 stamps and 21 dies in this bundle!
It’s a bundle for all seasons! Can’t wait to play more!
My simple wreath is mounted on a 3 1/4″ strip of designer paper from the In Good Taste collection. The greeting is from Lovely You.
If you need any of these products, I would very much appreciate your business. Click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to be directed to a specific product used today.

My upline Mindy Gray showed us how to make this great fun fold last night in our team meeting. It shows off coordinating papers beautifully, and you can choose to make it in any theme.
When the band is removed, the center section folds out, accordion-style.
Dimensions are as follows…
Cinnamon Cider 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
Cinnamon Cider 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 1 1/2″, 3″, 5 1/2″, 8″

For $99 + tax (shipping is included), you can choose up to $125 in product AND any stamp/tool bundle from the new Annual Catalog! The bundle is an addition to our standard Starter Kit this month, and the deal ends tomorrow. I urge anyone with a big wish list to take advantage of this offer.
Becoming a Demonstrator gives you extra perks as well – starting with a 20% discount on purchases while you are active. The discount goes up with volume or sales – but you are not required to sell. In fact, you are not required to purchase anything beyond the Starter Kit.
Early access to upcoming product is another benefit. This month Demonstrators are already looking at the next mini catalog – and we can order from it starting in July, with a discount!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at stampyourworld@gmail.com if you would like to discuss this – we can set up a call or discuss by email. I would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the Starter Kit or becoming a Demo. It’s a win-win if you love Stampin’ Up! product!
Our new Mini Paper Pumpkin Boxes (p152 AC) are a perfect companion to our precut and scored Note Cards and Envelopes (p153 AC). I showed these examples of packaged note card sets on Facebook Live last night.
This box is stamped with the Buffalo Check background stamp in Misty Moonlight.
I made this very simple set of notecards to fill the Misty Moonlight box. The designer paper pieces measure 3″ x 4 1/2″. The greetings are made with the So Sentimental bundle.
I made the Bumblebee version to hold the set of note cards shown below…
I also showed how to sponge a box with ink, masking off a portion of the box top for a mailing address.
I used a “stamp” that I created with fun foam to add color to my sunflower and leaves on these note cards.
I also used a fun foam stamp to create this starry background. This post is meant as a supplement to last night’s Facebook Live – click here to see the video for full details, and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers group on Facebook to join my videos live!

Welcome to the Trip Achievers Blog Hop for June! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Chris Slogar) or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along through all of the projects.
I chose to highlight “Basket of Blooms”, a set that is fun for coloring and flower arranging. I love that you can make a quick card in any colors and with any greeting with this set. See the full set below – there are so many cute images that can be quickly stamped, or fussy-cut and used for more complicated flower arranging.
I used a greeting from “Lovely You”, and I used a bunch of fun new products – the In Color designer paper, Lovely Labels Pick a Punch, new Stampin’ Blends, Flowers for Every Season ribbon, and In Color Enamel Dots.
Thanks so much for checking out my card today! Please use the list below to travel to all of the other participants’ sites.
This is a fun kind of easel card – it slides into the upright position. I’ve seen this card in several places on the internet, so I’m not sure who to credit with the mechanics. However, I did case Julie Kettlewell’s version from a few years ago. She used “Jar of Love”, and I have updated it with “Jar of Flowers” and “Daisy Lane”.
The dimensions are as follows:
Gray Granite 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 1 1/2″
Designer Paper 1 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ and 3 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
Whisper White 2″ x 4″
Gray Granite 1″ x 4″, scored at 1/2″; 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, scored at 1/2″ and 1″; 1″ x 2 3/4″, scored at 1/2″ and 2 1/4″
Here’s a look at the other versions I showed…
The flowers in this one are from “Celebrate Sunflowers” and the greeting is from “Lovely You”.
The easel piece on this one is embossed with our new Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.
An added feature of this cool design is that it folds (actually slides) flat to fit in an envelope.
I also showed this easy card that uses the same bouquet along with one of our new Square Vellum Doilies.
