Sending Flowers Dies

Last night’s Facebook Live focused on the Sending Flowers Dies, which are only available while supplies last. I made this shaker card first, and we found that it isn’t as intricate and complicated as it looks.

The card base is Thick Whisper White, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. The designer paper measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, and the Soft Seafoam mat measures 4 1/4″ x 4 3/4″. There is also a 4″ square Window Sheet piece on this card.

I also showed this card, as an example of a simpler use of the main die. The focal point is a 2 5/8″ stitched square. The Seaside Spray mat measures 3 3/4″ x 5″, and it is embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.

I created a YouTube video showing both of these cards only, without the commentary and announcements from last night’s Live. If you are receiving this post in an email, click here for the video.

Here’s one more version of the card – with a Pear Pizzazz mat.

Roll-Up Gift Box

This origami box is made from an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock. It makes a great little gift box or an oversized favor.

I decorated my box with products from the From My Heart Suite, but this project is easily adaptable to any theme or holiday.

I love the crisp shapes that are created at the end of this box – a triangle nested in a pentagon.

The box unrolls to reveal the contents. My boxes hold a spool of Linen Thread and a spool of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

I CASEd this project from German Demonstrator Brigitte Keiling. You can find full instructions in the video below. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.

Thanks so much for checking out my project! If you need any of our fabulous products, I would appreciate your business.

Pleased as Punch

The Pleased as Punch designer paper collection that was released this week is a fabulous paper for spring! Why is it called Pleased as Punch? The umbrellas, hearts, flowers and tulips on these papers each coordinate with one of our punches.

As much as I love the side of the paper meant for punching, I find myself using the little prints for backgrounds a lot. The Petal Pink print is sweet with these little guys from “Welcome Easter”, but I love the Granny Apple Green print, too…

This paper will be available while supplies last as part of our special release items. The flowers and leaves on these cards are also from a die set in this release (Sending Flowers). Download the flyer below for details – these products cannot be found in our catalogs, but they are now available in the online store.

Side Pocket Cards

I made two versions of this card on Facebook Live last night. They each use large greetings from “Seriously the Best”. The first one uses paper from the Best Dressed collection.

The stamps on the inner note card are from “Dressed to Impress”. The note card pulls out from the right side of the card.

Dimensions for this layout:

Thick Whisper White 4 1/4″ x 10 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″, 9 3/4″

Designer Paper 4″ x 4″

Purple Posy 3 1/2″ x 4″, Whisper White 3 1/4″ x 3 3/4″

The second card uses the Birthday Bonanza designer paper, and a stamp on the inner card from “Witty-cisms”.

Dimensions for this layout:

Thick Whisper White 5 1/2″ x 7 3/4″, scored at 4 1/4″, 7 1/4″”

Designer Paper 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″

Terracotta Tile 2 3/4″ x 4 3/4″, Whisper White 2 1/2″ x 4 1/2″

New Coordination Items Available Today

The Coordination Product Release includes items that coordinate with products in the Mini and Sale-a-bration Catalogs, and the are available now!

Download the flyer for the item listings.

The video below gives a more detailed look at these products. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.

My card today uses the Little Ladybug stamp set – the dies for this set are part of today’s Coordination Product Release.

This stamp set is available to Hosts with a qualifying workshop during Sale-a-bration, but you don’t have to have a traditional party to earn this.

The sales requirement to earn this set is $300. If you have a few friends who would like to combine their orders to reach this threshold, I can set up a Host Code for your orders. Each person can order and receive their products at their own address, and the Host will receive the Little Ladybug set along with Stampin’ Rewards.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me at stampyourworld@gmail.com if you have any questions about this, or if you would like me to set up a Host Code for your group.

The front of my card is cut short. The Basic Black base measures 5 1/2″ x 7″, scored at 4 1/4″. The designer paper measures 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″, and the Whisper White measures 4″ x 5 1/4″. I also used stitched scalloped rectangles from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Seriously the Best

“Seriously the Best” is an appropriately-named set that delivers big greetings. All you need to go with it is some pretty paper – our Best Dressed collection provides that here. There is also a project kit that coordinates with this set. The kit includes materials to make 16 adorable cards along with a beautiful gift box.

I used a 2″ strip of Whisper White for my greeting, and I punched the ends with the Label Me Lovely punch. I also added a layer of Mossy Meadow, stamped with leaves from “Layered with Kindness”.

Stitched Be Mine Dies

Who can resist a classic red (Cherry Cobbler in this case), black & white color combination? The Stitched Be Mine Dies are also a classic, and this all went together fairly easily with a sweet greeting from this year’s “Heartfelt” stamp set and the new Label Me Lovely and Label Me Fancy punches.

Bonanza Buddies Fun Folds

Last night on Facebook Live, I used two of my favorite bundles from the Mini Catalog – Bonanza Buddies and So Sentimental. This card is a gate fold.

The Smoky Slate base measures 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 1 1/4″ and 6 3/4″. The embossed Bermuda Bay mat measures 3 3/4″ x 5″. The stitched rectangle is the largest rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

I sealed the edges of the 1 1/4″ section of the base to make a pocket for a gift card. The Whisper White piece on the inside is a 4″ square.

I used the largest stitched rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies again here. It is scored 3/4″ from the right edge, and that 3/4″ flap is tucked between the card base and the Daffodil Delight designer paper.

The Terracotta Tile card base measures 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″. The designer paper pieces measure 3″ x 5 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. The Whisper White insert measures 3″ x 5 1/4″.

Sending Flowers

This card showcases a couple products from the upcoming Coordination Product Release – the Sending Flowers Dies and the Pleased as Punch designer paper collection. These items will be available February 4.

The die-cut image looks pretty intricate (which can sometimes mean labor-intensive), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the entire circular panel, including all of the skinny stems and leaves, is cut in one step, with one die. Mine is cut from Thick Whisper White, and I added color to the stems and flowers with my Stampin’ Blends.

There are four additional dies – the two banner pieces and two dies that cut flour flowers each. You can actually fit all five dies on the platform and cut everything you see on my card in only one pass! Not labor-intensive at all!!

I have attached a Window Sheet behind the flowers to keep them secure. The entire panel is raised up on dimensionals, so I didn’t want the flowers flopping around or getting caught on the envelope. They are lightly tacked to the Window Sheet with dots of Tombow glue. My greeting is from “Bonanza Buddies”.
