This was one of the most popular cards in Card Buffet this week. It is a gift card holder made with the Christmas Collectibles ornaments, shown open below.
Donna B, who happens to be a former demonstrator, showed me this design this summer. It measures 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ closed, so it is made from a half sheet of cardstock. The front of the base is folded back 2″ for the slot, which is punched with the Word Window punch (several punches in a line). It is a pretty card without the slot, too; several people made it that way.
The Cherry Cobbler mats measure 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and the designer paper and Whisper White pieces measure 3″ x 4″. The Old Olive organdy ribbon is still available on the clearance rack, $3.99 for 10 yd. It is a perfect ribbon for Christmas projects!
