One of Shelli’s presentations at Leadership focused on simplicity. We would all love to make life simpler, right? I am trying to apply that idea to my papercrafting!! With the right colors and a little ribbon or an added embellishment, you don’t have to give up the “wow factor” on a simple card. I love this simple layout that I saw on Pinterest using Starburst Sayings. This is a CASE of a card Justin Krieger made for a challenge. He used Retro Fresh colors, and it is easy to imagine this card done with any of our designer papers. I used paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration promotion.
Also, I want to share with you the colors of Blendabilities, our new alcohol-based markers that will be available by the end of March. We played with these at Leadership, and they are great for coloring and blending. A package of three shades of each of the colors shown below will cost $11.95. There will also a six-pack of skin tones for $22.95 and a Color Lifter for $4.95. The Color Lifter picks up little mistakes. If these are popular, more color choices will be added.
