Language of Love

DSC_0360w The stamps in the Language of Love set are perfect for Valentine’s Day, but they can definitely be used year-round.  The card base here is Soft Sky with an Elegant Eggplant mat, and since it is early February, I made my garland in Valentine colors.  However, I do look forward to trying this with neutrals, or specific wedding colors.

The patterns in the line of small hearts in this set are really fun, and those hearts fit in the Small Heart punch.  I was able to sew them together with my machine.  I found it easiest to feed the hearts in one by one with a pair of long tweezers, and I used the zipper foot for better access to the needle area.

We also did a project using Language of Love in club last week.  It is a double slider with a Hershey bar.  As you pull the Hershey bar to the right, the card with heart slides out on the left.

DSC_0348w It is a spool of heart garland, what timing!  And don’t you love Mindy’s attention to detail?  This is a great decorative item, but the garland can also be used on a project.  What a fun gift for a papercrafter!
