Gusseted Cello Bags

We made projects with our 3″ x 6″ Gusseted Cello Bags last night on Facebook Live.  They are perfect treat bags for the upcoming holidays.  I used the large and medium Stitched Season framelits for the simple bag topper that you see here.  The designer paper is from the Toil & Trouble collection, and the greeting is from “Spooky Sweets”.

The Stitched Seasons framelits are available through August along with related products as shown in the flyer below.

These projects use the same gusseted bags, but this time, the designer paper lines the bag.  The flap edge is cut with the small Stitched Season framelit, and it folds over the outside of the front of the bag.  I CASEd this idea from Satomi Wellard.

The designer paper strips measure 2 3/4″ x 10″, scored at 1″, 3″, and 8″.  If your paper has a directional pattern, plan the scores accordingly!

The project on the left is like the previous projects, except that there is no 1″ fold of designer paper showing at the botton of the bag.  The strip for this bag is 2 3/4″ x 9″, scored at 2″ and 7″.

The version on the right has a tray for a K Cup.  I used a strip of Mint Macaron cardstock measuring 2 3/4″ x 12″, scored at 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 4″, 6″, 7 1/2″, and 10 3/4″.  I added a 1 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ piece of designer paper to the front of the tray.  You can use a strip of designer paper instead of cardstock to make this, but again, if you have a directional pattern, plan your scores accordingly!

I made this K Cup version with an Ohio State K Cup.  It is made with a strip of black cardstock, decorated with a gray panel and Buckeye colors.  Some of the punches used to make the buckeye are retired, as is the greeting stamp (from last year’s “Merry Cafe”).

I hope these pictures and details make a good supplement to last night’s Live.  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, or check out the video on Facebook.

The holiday products will not be available until September 5 – unless you sign up as a Demonstrator.  New Demonstrators can choose holiday catalog products as part of their Starter Kit.  If you have any questions, or would like to receive a Holiday Catalog in the mail, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com.

As always, if you need any of our fabulous products, I would so appreciate your business in the online store.  Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a package of Metallic Pearls from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program.
