Fun Treats

Last night’s Facebook Live was all about treats.  We started with this very simple pouch for a Reese’s Pumpkin.  The pouch is made from a 6″ square of designer paper rolled into a tube and closed at both ends.  All are closed at the bottom with Tear ‘n Tape.  The one on the left is also secured at the top with Tear ‘n Tape.  The one on the right is closed by tying with a ribbon.

These treats were inspired by Ann Krucek – each is made from half of an acetate box.

Each has a piece of designer paper which lines the inside back of the box.  The designer paper also creates a flap on the front of the box.  The designer paper measures 4 3/8″ x 5″, scored at 2 7/8″ and 3 1/2″.  If the paper is directional (like the cauldrons), make your score lines accordingly.

A small piece of Velcro holds the flap closed.

This is a treat for someone who needs tissues and tea.

My Get Well version has a box top made from designer paper.  The designer paper measures 7 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.  It is scored 1 1/2″ from each side (at 1 1/2″ and 6″ on the 7 1/2″ side, and at 1 1/2″ and 2 1/4″ on the 3 3/4″ side).

I used the Frosted Floral designer series paper and “Healing Hugs”, but of course you can modify this to suit your occasion.

I hope these still pictures and details make a good supplement to last night’s video.
