Last night, I showed how to make this easy pop-up 3D flower pot on Facebook Live. While I had been focusing on retiring items this week, I am happy to say that “Daisy Delight” and the Daisy Punch (used to make these flowers) will be available in the new Annual Catalog. However, “Petal Palette” (shown in the second example) is on the retiring list.
Here’s a side view. The flowers are held up by two 1/2″ strips of Window Sheet.
The card folds flat to fit in our standard Medium Envelope. Complete instructions are in the video, but I have also listed all dimensions below. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.
Base – 4″ squares of Sahara Sand and Floral Romance Designer Paper
Window Sheets – 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 2 3/4″
and 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, scored at 1 3/4″, 4 3/4″
The following pieces are Sahara Sand Cardstock:
Flower Pot – 1 3/4″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 2″, 5 1/2″
and 1/2″ x 8″, scored at 2 1/8″, 5 7/8″
Tab – 1/2″ x 4″, scored at 1″, 2″, 3″
Band – 1″ x 9″, scored at 2 3/8″, 6 1/2″
You can use other flowers or even a stamped image to fill your flowerpot. Below I have used a stamped image from “Petal Palette”.
