Sliding Easel Cards

This is a fun kind of easel card – it slides into the upright position. I’ve seen this card in several places on the internet, so I’m not sure who to credit with the mechanics. However, I did case Julie Kettlewell’s version from a few years ago. She used “Jar of Love”, and I have updated it with “Jar of Flowers” and “Daisy Lane”.

The dimensions are as follows:

  • Gray Granite 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 1 1/2″
  • Designer Paper 1 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ and 3 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
  • Whisper White 2″ x 4″
  • Gray Granite 1″ x 4″, scored at 1/2″; 1/2″ x 1 1/2″, scored at 1/2″ and 1″; 1″ x 2 3/4″, scored at 1/2″ and 2 1/4″

Here’s a look at the other versions I showed…

The flowers in this one are from “Celebrate Sunflowers” and the greeting is from “Lovely You”.

The easel piece on this one is embossed with our new Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.

An added feature of this cool design is that it folds (actually slides) flat to fit in an envelope.

I also showed this easy card that uses the same bouquet along with one of our new Square Vellum Doilies.
