Forever Gold and More

I used the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Sheets to make these cards last night on Facebook Live.

My first is a CASE of Jan Clothier’s card which you can see here. It is almost an exact CASE – I loved everything about her card so much!

The laser-cut foil piece is mounted on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, and then on a Cajun Craze mat and card base. The mat is embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

The colored leaves are cut from Watercolor Paper with the Forever Flourishing dies. I watercolored them with Water Painters in Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Cherry Cobbler.

I used another of the laser-cut pieces on this bright and beautiful card. In this case, I used my Sponge Brayers to create an ombre background on the Very Vanilla piece behind the laser-cut piece. the colors are Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Poppy Parade.

The greeting is from “Ridiculously Awesome” and I added a few Artistry Blooms Sequins and a Bumblebee ribbon.

These cards were made by adding color to the white side of the laser-cut sheets. I placed a laser-cut panel over a piece of Very Vanilla and added colors (Crushed Curry, Mango Melody and Poppy Parade) with Sponge Brayers. I used the laser-cut piece on the card on the left, and the Very Vanilla piece on the card on the right.

Note that these panels fit out precut and scored note cards perfectly – these are the Very Vanilla note cards. The greeting is from “Massive Thanks”.

Finally, I showed these inlaid die cards. Three leaves on each card are cut into the Plaid Tidings papers, and then the cardstock leaves are added into those openings on the finished card.

The plaid paper shows the stitched outline of the leaves. It’s subtle and hard to see in the photograph, but a nice detail.

Also note my use of the gold foil laser-cut sheets under the greetings on these cards and the previous thank you cards. I simply punched the foil with a 1 1/2″ Circle Punch (thank yous) and the Timeless Label Punch (inlaid leaves).
