I’m playing “Catch-Up” these days, so today I will share a mix of announcements, thoughts, and my impromptu Facebook Live project from last night. Let’s start with announcements…

I have been working on Craft Show projects lately, with a lot of retired product (as you can see in the above photo. ) This is a favorite new project for me this year – these little rectangular milk carton shapes hold a hand sanitizer. I made one using our Sweet Stockings designer paper on Facebook Live last night…
I use a 5 1/2″ square of designer paper to make this shape, but you can make adjustments to fit other items. I am showing pictures and dimensions here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. With the bottom of directional patterns to the left on your scoring board, score at 1″, 4 1/4″ and 5″. Then rotate the paper 90 degrees CCW to make the vertical scores at 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 4″ and 5″. Add a partial score line (only to first horizontal score line) at 2″ and 4 1/2″. This will make sense if you have seen the video 🙂
I also showed a couple of fun fold cards that coordinate – made with the Sweet Stockings Suite.
They open as shown below…
But in each case, the card front is our standard 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ with a 1 1/2″ wide section folded back – you can see the typical card base when folded as shown below…
Simply score the card front 1 1/2″ from the right edge in each case. This will create the section that is folded back to pick up the scalloped rectangle (top) or circle (bottom). By the way, the scalloped rectangle is from the Scalloped Contours Dies – the names always escape me when I am doing a Facebook Live.

My favorite part of the job is creating and sharing new projects. I welcome visits from Teammates, Customers, Demonstrators, and Customers of other Demonstrators 🙂 It has always been my intent to freely share ideas.
My following has increased by all measures, and I really do appreciate that! Unfortunately, like many Demos, my sales are down, and that does have me questioning the time I can devote to sharing my projects.
I am opposed to offering big discounts and freebies that entice Customers away from my own Teammates and other Demonstrators. The vast majority of Demonstrators cannot provide big discounts and excessive freebies. I offer a modest gift for my customers from the Stampin’ Rewards that are collected from our combined orders.
I know there are many factors currently affecting sales. However, if you are a Customer, you can help – please do not choose your Demonstrator by the discounts and freebies. Instead, consider where you get your ideas and who you would like to support. This is a thoughtful PSA from me today, and I thank you for considering it! It may be a losing battle, but I say it for the sake of my Team and all of the other Demonstrators who share so freely!
