Flowers of Friendship

Aloha! I have been making this card layout with several of the papers in the beautiful Hand-Penned designer paper collection. It also features the Flowers of Friendship bundle and the great new Tailor Made Tags dies. It is the card I will be swapping on the Hawaii Incentive Trip.

Thank you to all of my customers, team and followers for making it possible for me to earn this trip! I appreciate your support!

Here’s the Misty Moonlight version I made to go with some of my customer gifts this month. The designer papers measure 3″ x 4 1/4″ and 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″, and the cardstock mat is embossed with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder.

Thank you for checking out my cards today! The products used are linked in the carousel below, or click here to be directed to the online store. Facebook Live Projects

I used a lot of my new favorite products in the two card types I showed in last night’s Facebook Live. Both are easily adaptable to your choice of papers and stamps. These are pocket cards, made with Sweet Symmetry designer paper and the All Squared Away bundle.

I am presenting the pictures and dimensions are here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.

Thank you for any help you can give me in Likes, Shares, and orders in the online store. It is my goal to continue to bring you project ideas for free, and your support helps.

The designer paper measures 5 1/4″ x 12″, scored at 4″ and 8″, and then on the diagonal in the last section. I cut away the excess on the inside of the pocket with a cut line 1/2″ from the fold.

The card in the inner pocket is made from a 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ cardstock mat and a 4 3/8″ x 3 1/8″ piece of Basic White.

This one uses paper from the Pansy Petals collection.

I also showed these Arrow Fold cards from my team meeting this week, and I made the version shown below. This is a fun card type that uses a standard 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base.

The card front is folded in on four score lines. The designer paper and Basic White are cut to match – each from a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece. Please check out the video for complete instructions. The Arrow Fold card starts at approximately 21:30.

Thank you for checking out my projects today! If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to go directly to a product used today. (Due to the variety of projects, I am omitting ink and cardstock from the carousel.)

Diamond Top Card and More

Last night on Facebook Live, I showed a Diamond Top card and a couple of gift card holders. I made them with the Hand-Penned Suite of products from our new annual catalog, and I also made them as graduation cards (below).

The Diamond Top cards are perfect for display. The diamond panel is a great place to feature any stamp or greeting.

I made this in a size that easily fits in our Medium Envelopes- – it doesn’t exceed our typical 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ card.

Here’s an easy reference for the scoring. The base is simply a 6″ x 7 1/2″ rectangle, scored first in each direction at 3″. To create the diagonal score lines, simple mark the endpoint locations and then score between them.

The designer paper that fits the card front is 2 3/4″ wide. It is 3 3/8″ tall on the left, and 2 1/4″ tall on the right. The inner panel is Whisper White 2 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ matted on Polished Pink 2 7/8″ x 3 5/8″.

I also showed these gift card holders that coordinate. The simple fold-up cardstock version on the right has a Misty Moonlight base that measures 3 1/4″ x 9 1/2″, scored at 3 1/4″ and 7 3/4″. The designer paper pieces measure 3″ x 3″ and 3″ x 1 1/2″. The Basic White is also 3″ x 3″.

This gift card holder is made from one of our new In Color Ombre bags. The bottom of the bag is folded up 3″, creating a pocket on the front for a gift card. The bag is wrapped with a 2″ x 11″ piece of designer paper. The inner card, which fits in the bag’s opening at the top, is Basic White 3 5/8″ x 4 1/8″ matted on Misty Moonlight 3 3/4″ x 4 1/4″.

I made this version in the live video. It uses the Polished Pink Ombre bag with products from the Ice Cream Corner Suite.

Here are the graduation versions. The greetings are from “Best Year”, and I show how to make the tassel from a skein of embroidery floss in the video.

New Catalog and Specials

Products from our 2021-2022 Annual Catalog are available now – click here to see them in the online store. Would you like to have a copy of this catalog? I highly recommend it for the ideas and layouts it provides! If you don’t have a Demonstrator, I would be happy to send you a copy in the mail. Please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com with your address.

Click here to see the pdf copy of the catalog. It is also always available in my left sidebar.

Along with the new catalog release, we are also offering two special deals – a “Join” special and a “Shop” special.

We are adding value to our Starter Kit this month. For $99, you can choose $155 in product from all of our current offerings, and there is no obligation to sell. In fact, there is no obligation to purchase anything beyond the Starter Kit. However, purchases that you make as a Demonstrator are at least 20% off.

I would be happy to discuss this with you and answer any questions you may have about being a Demonstrator. Contact me at stampyourworld@gmail.com to set up a call. I have a growing team with regular meetings and activities, and while some are building businesses, most are buying for themselves at a discount. We all share the same passion for our hobby!

In my mind, this is the “Shop” special 🙂 Orders over $250 earn an extra $25 in Stampin’ Rewards. If you have a large order, you can qualify on your own. If you have a friend or two that would like to combine orders to reach $250, the “Host” can get these rewards. Each online customer can order under your assigned Host Code for delivery to their own address – there is no need to gather for a traditional party.

Please contact me at stampyourworld@gmail.com to set this up for you and your friends. It is always my goal to take advantage of as many rewards as possible!

Cards to Stand and Display

I made two fun folds last night on Facebook Live – both are perfect for the recipient to stand up and display. The first is decorated with paper from the Hydrangea Hill collection and flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies. The greeting is from “Happy Thoughts”.

I am presenting the pictures and dimensions are here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.

The background pieces fold inward and are partially behind the center panel when the card is flattened for mailing. It fits our standard medium envelope. I CASEd the fold from Patty Bennett.

Dimensions are as follows:

  • Seaside Spray card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 2″, 3 1/8″, 5 3/8″, 6 1/2″
  • Designer Paper (2) 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ and (1) 2″ x 5 1/4″
  • Basic White to fit Stitched So Sweetly Die 3 3/4″ x 2 9/16″

The second stand-up display card I showed last night is this Vertical Easel. I CASEd the fold from Wendy Lee, but substituted Artistry Blooms designer paper and an image from “Hey, Girlfriend”.

The card front is propped open on the greeting, but folds flat for mailing.

The greeting and the heart stamps are from “Oval Occasions”. This card was actually made in a team event last month, but I used product from our upcoming Annual Catalog in last night’s Live…

The designer paper is from the Hand Penned collection, and the flower is from the Color & Contour bundle. These new products will be available starting May 4. Please email me at buckeyeinklings@gmail.com if you would like to receive our new catalog in the mail.

Dimensions are as follows…

  • Soft Succulent card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ and 6 3/8″
  • So Saffron (2) 2″ x 5 3/8″ and 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
  • Designer Paper (2) 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″
  • (2) 1 1/2″ punched circles
  • Label shapes for focal point (I used Tasteful Labels dies)

Thank you for checking out my projects today! If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to go directly to a product used today. (Due to the variety of projects, I am omitting ink and cardstock from the carousel – also, items from the upcoming annual catalog are not linked because they are not yet available.)

Snail Mail Card and Favor

I presented a couple of Snail Mail projects on this week’s Facebook Live – a bookbinding card and a coordinating favor.

I am presenting the pictures and dimensions are here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.

The card has a flat “bound” edge. In the first example (pictured above), I punched holes through the bound section and added twine.

In the second example (lower half of above picture), I left an opening in the bound section to slide in a gift card, and I did not add the holes and twine.

Dimensions are as follows:

  • Coastal Cabana 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and 6 1/2″
  • Real Red Mats 7/8″ x 4 1/8″ and 4 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Designer Paper 3/4″ x 4″ and 4 1/4″ x 4″
  • Read Red for Gift Card 3″ x 4 1/4″

The favors are made from 7 1/2″ x 12″ pieces of designer paper. The paper is scored at 2″ and 5 1/2″ along the 7 1/2″ side and at 1 1/2″, 5″, 7″, and 10 1/2″ on the 12″ side.

The pockets on either side of the favor can hold a note card (Real Red cardstock 3″ square with Basic White 2 3/4″ square), a tea bag, a gift card, or other small item.

The favor also encloses a 3″ x 9″ gusseted bag filled that you can fill with the treats of your choice.

I just love the characters on the designer paper for my decorations! I simply fussy-cut the pieces I wanted to use for the cards and favors.

Thank you for checking out my projects today! If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to go directly to a product used today.

2021-2022 Annual Catalog Shares

There are so many beautiful new ribbons and designer papers in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog – I know you want them all! You can get them all without purchasing all of those full packages.

What is a share? A share is a sampling of the product. I purchase the full packs of ribbon and paper, and I divide them into smaller amounts so that a group of customers can “share” full packages.

Ribbon Shares

I have included all of the ribbon that is new for 2021-2022 in two different shares. I will cut the ribbon from each spool into four equal shares. This will amount to approximately 2 1/2 yards (90″) of each, with one exception. The exception is the Mint Macaron Soft Velvet Ribbon – which comes on a 5-yard spool that will be cut into four equal shares of approximately 1 1/4 yards (45″) each.

All ribbon is wrapped neatly on a card and packaged/labeled in a cello bag.

Ribbon Share #1 (shown above) – 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon Collection: Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent, approximately 12 1/2 yards total

Cost of Share ~ $11 + $4 First Class Shipping*

Ribbon Share #2 – New Individual Ribbons, approximately 16 1/4 yards total, 2 1/2 yards of each, except 1 1/4 yards of Mint Macaron 1/2″ Soft Velvet Ribbon

  • Just Jade & Gold 3/8″ Braided Ribbon
  • Flirty Flamingo 1/4″ Gold Metallic Ribbon
  • Evening Evergreen 3/8″ Chevron Weave Ribbon
  • Smoky Slate 7/8″ Textured Ribbon
  • Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain Ribbon
  • Mint Macaron 1/2″ Soft Velvet Ribbon
  • Pale Papaya & White 1/2″ Ribbon

Cost of Share ~ $15 + $4 First Class Shipping*

* If buying both ribbon shares, total First Class shipping charge will be $4. If combining one or both ribbon shares with a designer paper share, the full order will be shipped for the $8 Priority Mail Rate listed with the paper shares.

Designer Paper Shares

Paper will be cut and packaged/labeled in cello bags as shown in the example above from previous years, with up to 24 sheets per bag.

Single Designer Paper Share – (92) 6″ x 6″ sheets of the papers listed

  • Beauty of the Earth (6)

  • 2020-2022 In Color Assortment (10) **
  • Pattern Party (12)

Cost of Share ~ $25 + $8 Priority Shipping

Double Designer Paper Share – (66) 6″ x 12″ sheets and (26 x 2) 6″ x 6″ sheets

Double the amount of paper listed above, cut in 6″ x 12″ sheets where possible (Collections marked with ** are only available in 6″ squares, so two of each sheet will be provided.)

Cost of Share ~ $50 + $8 Priority Shipping

I omitted the Brights, Neutrals, Regals, Subtles Assortments (bottom of page 134) in order to keep the cost of my paper shares low. You can add a share (20 sheets) of any or all of these assortments for $6 each – please let me know which collection(s) you would like. This is only available as an add-on to another paper share, and there will be no additional shipping charge.

If you would like to purchase a share, please email me at buckeyeinklingsorders@gmail.com with your order.  Include your name, mailing address and email address for Paypal.  I will send Paypal invoices on or after April 30.  Orders and payment are due by May 3.

I will place an order for all paid shares on May 4.  The process to  receive and process the shares takes about two weeks.  Barring any backorders, I will fill and mail the shares on or before May 14. Please note that backorders may delay delivery, and I have no control of that.

Accordion Elements

This week’s Facebook Live showed two ways to add accordion elements to the inside of cards. First, here’s a look at the card front using the Lots of Heart bundle from our current mini catalog with our upcoming In Colors. I have used four of our new In Colors – Soft Succulent, Fresh Freesia, Polished Pink, and Pale Papaya. The gingham designer paper (from the Pansy Petals collection) and the new In Color products will be available May 4.

I am presenting the pictures and dimensions are here for easy reference, but you may need to see the video for complete instructions. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos.

The accordion hearts stretch open as you open the card.

The outer edges of the hearts are attached to each other with glue dots, and half of the first and last heart are fully adhered to the card base.

I also made a butterfly version with the Well Suited designer paper and Butterfly Brilliance bundle.

I used the Ice Cream Corner suite for my next accordion card.

In this case, the insert piece is accordion-pleated, and I have attached three ovals to the folds. The striped designer paper is from the Hydrangea Hill collection and it measures 5 1/4″ x 10″, scored at 2″, 3″, 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″,and 8″.

My second example of this card type uses Butterfly Brilliance with Fine Art designer paper.

For complete instructions, please click here for the video on Facebook. I appreciate any support you can give me in likes, shares and follows.

Thank you for checking out my projects today! If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to go directly to a product used today.

Place a $35 order with Host Code QCZZJEGD in April, and I will send you a package of Pearl Basic Jewels and a handmade card. This is my way of sharing the Stampin’ Rewards with you – I appreciate your business!!
