I hope you all had a nice holiday season! I’m back today with two of my favorite new things for the new year. Technically, this is still a sneak peek – but you only have to wait one more day for these new products! Products from the Jan-June Mini and Sale-a-bration Catalogs will be available starting tomorrow, January 5!!
I love a punch bundle, and our new Oval Occasions bundle includes two oval sizes that also coordinate with our oval framelits. I have used the larger scalloped oval punch with a stitched oval framelit here.
And that beautiful designer paper? It’s called Flower & Field, and it will be free with a $50 purchase!! It is one of several designer papers that will be free during SAB.
If you would like to receive copies of these new catalogs in the mail, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com.
Just two days until Christmas, so at least I am keeping my sneak peek in the right color scheme for the holidays! The new products are calling, though, so today I have a strawberry instead of a poinsettia.
The Sweet Strawberry bundle from the upcoming Jan-Jun 2021 Mini catalog offers a stamp set with a coordinating punch to make the strawberry and leaves shown (and an additional flower which is not shown). The designer paper comes from the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog. The paper and additional coordinating Berry Blessings stamp will be free with a $100 purchase.
Please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com if you would like to receive these catalogs in the mail. Products from these catalogs will be available starting January 5.
I shared a mix of holiday and sneak peek projects last night on my Facebook Live. Each of these projects uses a sliding lock closure that operates in a track created by the Classic Label Punch. I have the pictures and details to share with you today.
This post is meant as a supplement to last night’s Facebook Live. Please click here to see the video – and please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group on Facebook to get notifications of all of my live videos. I have also added YouTube videos to the Buckeye Inklings channel – one for the favor, one for the card (links below).
These projects meet my favorite criteria…
They are fun folds
They use more than one pattern of designer paper
They are easy to modify to other themes by changing the papers and stamps
Though I am caught up in my preorder products (which do not include any Christmas items) I thought it would be nice to show the favor in holiday papers – it is still December! The products used here are part of the Heartwarming Hugs Suite.
The favor holds two Ghirardelli squares, and you can also add a gift card.
Dimensions are as follows…
Cardstock Base 7 1/2″ x 10 3/4″ – score at 1 3/4″, 2 1/8″, 5 3/8″ and 5 3/4″ on the short side, score at 4″, 4 3/8″, 8 3/8″ and 8 3/4″ on the long side
Designer Paper 3 3/4″ x 3″ and 1 3/4″ x 3″
Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 3″
Here are two of my “Sneak Peek” versions – using the Oval Occasions bundle from the upcoming Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog along with Paper Blooms designer series paper from the upcoming Sale-a-bration Catalog.
Products from these upcoming catalogs will be available starting January 5. The paper shown here is one of the free items you will be able to choose with a $50 order.
My YouTube video for the favor (below) shows this version, made with the Punch Party stamp set and Flower & Field designer paper from the upcoming SAB catalog. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.
My next examples use the Ice Cream Corner Suite from the upcoming Mini Catalog. On the right, you can see another version of the favor; on the left, the card version that uses the same locking mechanism.
Here’s a closer look at the card – everything about this suite is fabulous! You are going to love the paper, the stamps, the punch, and the embellishments!!
My YouTube video for the card (below) shows this version. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video. Keep scrolling for the Christmas version of the card and dimensions.
And finally, the Christmas version of the card. Dimensions are as follows…
Cardstock Base 5 1/2″ x 10 1/2″, scored at just under 4 1/4″ and at 8 1/2″
Designer Paper 4″ x 5 1/4″
Designer Paper 5 1/4″ tall, width between 3/4″ and 1 3/4″
Whisper White 4″ x 5 1/4″
Again, please refer to either the Facebook Live or the YouTube videos for complete instructions and tips. Any support (likes, shares, comments) that you can give me in social media is greatly appreciated!
I won’t include a product carousel today, as many of these items will not be available until January 5. However, please check the online store for sale items in the Year-End Closeout Sale.
Place a $35 order with Host Code EGS7SXBU in December, and I will send you a package of Stampin’ Dimensionals and a handmade card (orders over $50 will also receive a pack of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals). This is my way of sharing the Stampin’ Rewards with you – I appreciate your business!!
The last two weeks of December are such a tug-of-war in my crafting world. While I am still enjoying (and completing!!) my Christmas projects, I am looking ahead to our new catalogs!
Today, the new stuff wins out, and I have a card to share that we made in our team event this weekend. It uses “Pretty Perennials” from our upcoming Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Not only does this stamp set feature pretty perennials, it also includes fabulous lighthearted greetings.
The designer paper used here is also a sneak peek – it is from the Flower & Field collection – one of the Sale-a-bration items you will be able to choose to receive for free with a $50 order.
The new products will be available to customers starting January 5, but you can have them NOW if you would like to join as a Demonstrator. You can include the new items in your Starter Kit. There is no requirement to sell, or even to purchase anything beyond the Starter Kit. However, if you do purchase more, you will be purchasing at a discount.
If you don’t already have a Demonstrator, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com to receive copies of these upcoming catalogs – I would be happy to mail them to you! Also contact me if you have any questions about purchasing a Starter Kit – we can set up a call to discuss it.
I showed a few holiday treats last night on Facebook Live last night, starting with these Lindt snowman favors. The dimensions are shown below, but please check out the video (click here) for complete instructions.
Misty Moonlight 2″ x 6″, scored at 3 1/4″, 4 1/4″ and 4 3/4″
Designer Paper 1 7/8″ x 2 7/8″
We didn’t actually make these hot cocoa pouches – they were simply my inspiration for the next project. I have made these cocoa pouches over and over, every year with different add-ons (candy spoon, candy cane, wooden spoon, chocolate-dipped peppermint stick, etc). I do have a video from years ago on YouTube (click here) which shows how to make the one on the left.
I copied the method of the hot cocoa pouch to make another pouch for a gift. In last night’s Live, I showed an embellishment pouch…
The designer paper is sized to fit the Holiday Rhinestones in this example. It measures 6″ x 10″, scored at 5″.
And finally, I just wanted to point out this super-easy use of the Wonder of the Season Memories & More cards (front and back of one shown). I packaged a Land O’Lakes hot cocoa with a peppermint spoon and gingerbread biscotti in our 3″ x 9″ printed cello bag. Then I simply used a few stamps and dies to dress up the Memories & More card to make a cute tag.

Since gift cards have become a typical gift, we need lots of ways to dress them up! Last night’s Facebook Live presented a few, and I have the pictures and details to share with you today.

Now to the projects…
The bows of the gift boxes pull up a folded insert where you can tuck a gift card. I made the gift box in two orientations. The ones shown above use paper from the ‘Tis the Season Collection, and the ones shown below use Trimming the Town designer paper.
The bow is mounted on dimensionals, making it easy to slide over the top of the bases. This also prevents the insert from sliding through the base piece, which is not closed at the bottom. Dimensions are as follows:
Taller Present
Cardstock 4″ x 7″, scored at 3 1/4″, 6 1/2″
Thick Whisper White 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 3 3/4″
Designer Paper 3″ x 3 3/4″ and 1/2″ strip
Cardstock and Designer Paper for bow
Wider Present
Cardstock 2 3/4″ x 9″, scored at 4 1/4″, 8 1/2″
Thick Whisper White 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″, scored at 2 1/2″
Designer Paper 2 1/2″ x 4″ and 1/2″ strip
Cardstock and Designer Paper for bow
I modified the insert piece for my Elf version. The wrap is made the same way as the Taller Present above, but the Whisper White piece is longer (2 3/4″ x 6″, scored at 4 1/2″). The top edge is punched with the Fancy Tag Topper Punch.
I placed some Real Red cardstock under the insert piece so that you could see the punched top edge. The 2 3/4″ width of cardstock does not fit into the track of the punch, but if you slide it gently over the top of the track and into the punch mechanism, you can still punch the shape on this width. A little trimming finishes the top edge, and this is a great place to tie a bow.
The second type of gift card holder I presented last night was this fun fold. It uses a piece of designer paper that is folded to reveal both sides on the front.
The designer paper measures 4″ x 12″, scored at 4″ and 8″. The Mossy Meadow base piece measures 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4″. The scalloped square is 2 3/4″, and the stitched square is slightly smaller. The YouTube video below shows this gift card holder only. If you are receiving this post in an email, click here for the YouTube video.

My family watched Elf (and a number of other holiday movies) over Thanksgiving weekend. I guess we are ready to kick off the season. The “Christmas Means More” stamp set is great for holiday movie fans!
My Elf-inspired hat is made with the three largest stitched circles dies. The Garden Green circles are full circles, but I cut the Daffodil Delight as a ring around the small Garden Green circle. I layered them together and cut the circle in half.
This picture shows a half and a quarter of my layered circle. The hat on my card is a bit less than a quarter of the circle (I cut a small wedge off the quarter circle). The cute little feather is a leaf from one of the wreaths in the Wreath Builder dies. Cut one wreath, and you will have many “feathers” 🙂
