Our Year-End Closeout Sale starts today, with discounts on retiring Stampin’ Up! products, including stamp sets and items from the 2019 Holiday Catalog. Products are available while supplies last.
Stampin’ Up! has also announced a Carryover List. This year the Carryover List includes items that will remain available from now through the new Annual Catalog sales period AND items that will appear again in next year’s Holiday Catalog (this second group of items will not be available from Jan 3, 2020 until the new Holiday Catalog). Note the * on the list to distinguish the difference.
You can see all of the retiring and sale items in the Online Store. Click here to go directly to the Year-End Closeout page. As always, orders of $35 or more placed with this month’s Host Code earn a free gift from me – this month’s gift is a combo pack of black dimensionals. If you haven’t tried them yet, these are a great staple to have in your adhesive stash!
I am playing a little catch-up this week, after a big craft show this past weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to the Jackson High School Key Club Craft Show on Saturday – the turnout was amazing!
Thanksgiving week is also a great time to thank my team and customers for my successes over the past year! Stampin’ Up!’s fiscal year ended September 30, so we have been getting lots of performance results this fall.
I am really thrilled that I earned our Incentive Trip to Maui this year! I was also very surprised to hear my rankings among demonstrators – 78th in the US and 129th globally!
Thank you so much for your support! Each order helps me to meet my goal – to serve you well by providing inspiration, great customer service and a share of Stampin’ Rewards. I appreciate your business!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my fabulous uplines, Mindy Gray and Terri Meehan! They have been spoiling me rotten this fall with surprise deliveries for these awards! Thank you Mindy and Terri!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!!
PS…if you are interested in the card details – the stamp set is “From Our House to Yours” (love those little houses!!) with a greeting from “Gather Together”.
This note card tote was one of my Facebook Live projects last night. It is a project I have been making for years, and it is especially great for the holidays. I filled this one with note cards, but it could hold any number of small gifts.
I used “From Our House to Yours” to stamp my cards. Though I used eleven stamps in three colors, you can stamp a set quickly on the Stamparatus. The greeting is from “Itty Bitty Christmas”.
Part of my focus on last night’s Live was the Stamparatus, so I also showed this multi-step stamp set from the upcoming Mini Catalog called “My Meadow”. I love these little projects that use our precut and scored note cards! They allow you to focus on the fun part of the project – the stamping!
This post is meant as a supplement to last night’s Live, which you can see here. I made a video for the tote in 2015, and I will attach it at the end of this post. If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the tote video.
Thanks so much for checking out my project. It is my goal to continue to bring you ideas for free, but I need your help! If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here to shop or use the carousel below to be directed to a product used in today’s projects.

This weekend I attended Stampin’ Up!’s annual OnStage convention where the upcoming Sale-a-bration and Mini Catalogs were showcased. They are absolutely beautiful, and loaded with fresh and inspiring products!!
If you are not already receiving catalogs from me, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com – I will be happy to send you a copy of each of these in December when they become available. I know you will love them!
As promised, I want to show you the gift I took to my friends at OnStage. I made this little pouch to hold a few goodies – a teabag, a chocolate, and a pack of Metallic Pearls. I used our beautiful Christmastime Is Here designer paper which is only available this month while supplies last.
The paper has gold foil accents, so I used gold foil, embossed with gold embossing powder, for my closure. The gold embossing on gold foil creates a really sharp look.
The video below gives complete instructions. If you are receiving this post in an email, click here for the video.
Here’s a view showing the bottom of the bag. I CASEd this project from Darby Whittier at Rejoice and Create. She said she got her inspiration from a snack food pouch, and she makes it in two sizes. You can see them here and here.

Last night’s Facebook Live was all about our Copper Dotted Treat Bags. The bags are food-safe, and they coordinate beautifully with our Brightly Gleaming designer paper. You can dress them up with a clip and a tag, or alter them with one of the ideas below.
The first is an old favorite – simply fold the bag to create two pockets, one for a note card and one for a gift card or other small gift.
The bag is scored and folded 3 3/4″ from its bottom edge. I wrapped the folded bag with a 1 1/2″ x 12″ strip of designer paper. The Night of Navy measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ and the Whisper White measures 3″ x 4″.
As promised, I will add the YouTube video for the daisy version of this project at the bottom of this post. If you are receiving this post in an email, click here for that video.
I also showed this gift card holder. The bag is scored and folded at 2″ and 5″ from its bottom edge. The designer paper band measures 2″ x 7″.
The inner card is attached to the center section on the inside of the tri-fold. The inside of this tri-fold is the back of the bag. The Pretty Peacock measures 4 1/2″ x 2 3/4″, and the Whisper White measures 4 3/8″ x 2 5/8″.
Next, I showed two different looks for the bags…
The first is a 3D stand-up version. The sides were scored at 3/4″ and the bottom at 1″.
Finally, I squared off the sides on this bag by scoring 3/8″ from each edge, stopping at a point about 1 1/4″ from the bottom. The score for the turned-down top edge is 5″ from the bottom of the bag.
This post is meant as a supplement to last night’s Facebook Live. You may need to check it out, especially for the 3D bag projects. Please join the Buckeye Inklings Stampers Group to receive my facebook posts and get notifications of my Lives. Click here for last night’s video.

“Beauty & Joy” is a set out of our 2019 Holiday Catalog that looks like it can go far beyond the holidays. It is a multi-step set that comes together to make beautiful topiaries or potted trees. I have a fall version here – I inked the leaf stamp in Pumpkin Pie and added Cherry Cobbler ink to the stamp with a dauber before stamping.
While the set does include holiday greetings, there is also a beautiful all-occasion sentiment and images for all seasons. See the full set below.

I changed the dimensions to suit the pieces and designer paper I wanted to accommodate. I also made the step section only 1″ wide. Otherwise, the card is made the same way, and there is a video in the post with the mug version.
Night of Navy 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″, 6 1/2″, 9″, 10″
Night of Navy 2 3/4″ x 5 1/4″, scored at 3 7/8″, 4 7/8″
Designer Paper 2 3/4″ x 4″ and 2 1/4″ x 4″
No matter what dimensions you use for this card type, just make sure to check that all pieces fall within the envelope dimensions when folded flat.

I was honored to be asked to share my Twin Pocket Purse on splitcoaststampers.com as part of their Falliday Fest! I introduced this project this summer with the Magnolia Lane papers, but it is a great project for any theme or holiday. I have made it here with designer paper from the Come To Gather collection.
The designer paper insert creates two pockets that are back to back inside the purse. The pockets can hold a note card, gift card, tea bag, or small gift.
