Cut Envelope Gift Card Holders

I made these gift card holders last night on Facebook Live.  They were inspired by a project I made years ago with a plain white envelope.  Each piece is part of an envelope – not a plain white envelope in this case, but envelopes made on the Envelope Punch Board using designer paper and colored cardstock.

The top pulls open to reveal a slot for a gift card and a pocket for a note card.  See the video below for complete instructions.  If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.  Dimensions are as follows:

Designer paper envelope – 6″ square with punch/score starting at 2 5/8″

Lovely Lipstick cardstock envelope – 6″ square with punch/score starting at just over 2 3/4″

Lovely Lipstick cardstock 3″ x 4″

Whisper White cardstock 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″

Cardstock for tag 2″ x 2 1/2″

Thanks so much for checking out my project.  If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here for the online store, or use the carousel below to be directed to a specific product.  Note that the envelope punch board and this beautiful designer paper are retiring.  The Delightful Day bundle will be available June 4.

Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a pack of Candle Embellishments and a handmade card from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program. I appreciate your orders!

Celebrate with Cake

These cute two-step tulips are from the set “Celebrate with Cake”.  You won’t find this set in our 2019-2020 Annual Catalog; it will be advertised in a beginning stamping brochure.

The images are simple, but really satisfying…and not just for beginners!

All of these “sneak peek” items will be available starting June 4.  If you would like to receive a catalog in the mail, please email me at stampyourworld@gmail.com.  I will be happy to send you one!

Above the Clouds

This post is meant as a sneak peek at the Above the Clouds Bundle that will be available in the upcoming 2019-2020 Catalog.  However, there are some things I have used that are retiring…and I am really going to miss them!

The retiring items are the Uninked Spectrum Pads I used to ink the balloon stamps, and the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets that I used for the die-cut greeting.  These are the items I am getting now since they won’t be available in the new Annual Catalog.

Also keep in mind that items that are bundled now and carrying over (like the Well Said greeting bundle used here) will not be available at the bundle price in the new Annual Catalog.  Those bundle prices are only available when a product is introduced.

I also made a simpler version of this card on a Thick Whisper White base.  The hot air balloon and basket are punched 🙂

The bundle will be available starting June 4, but the other items I have used on this card are available now.  Click here to shop, or use the carousel below to be directed to a specific product.  Don’t forget to check out the Clearance Rack, and if you are interested in Trimmer Blades, they are supposed to be back in stock today.

Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a package of Candle Embellishments and a handmade card from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program. I appreciate your orders!

Bird Ballad Sneak Peek

Bird Ballad is a suite of products that will be available in the upcoming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It includes the “Free as a Bird” stamp set, the Stitched Nested Label Dies and a bright and cheery designer paper collection.  I made two simple cards with these elements.

The largest image from the stamp set is fun to color, and I love the results I can get with my Stampin’ Blends.  It makes a pretty focal point for both of my cards today.

This version is a gift card holder made from the designer paper.

The designer paper measures 5 1/2″ x 12″, scored at 4″ and 8″.  One of the end sections is folded on a diagonal, and then back over the middle section to create a pocket.

If you love to color, this will be a great stamp set for you!  I love the simplicity of these two cards – and the fact that the focus is on the colored image.

Items from the Bird Ballad Suite will be available starting June 4,  If you can’t wait, you can get them in your Starter Kit when you join Stampin’ Up! as a Demonstrator.  The Starter Kit costs $99 + tax (shipping is included), and you get to select $125 worth of the product of your choice.  Once a Demonstrator, you will have a discount on future purchases…which will come in handy when you start shopping from the new Annual Catalog!  Please don’t hesitate to contact me at stampyourworld@gmail.com if you would like to discuss this – we can set up a call.

Have a great weekend!

Baby Wipe Backgrounds

I showed a fun technique in last night’s Facebook Live – Baby Wipe Backgrounds.  For this card, I used Gorgeous Grape, Blueberry Bushel, Bermuda Bay, Pool Party and Granny Apple Green.  Each color was applied along the edge of a fold of a baby wipe, and then the edge was swiped across a piece of glossy cardstock.

The die cut hot air balloon is made with the retiring Up & Away thinlits.  The greeting is from “Above the Clouds” – a new hot air balloon bundle that will be available in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.

I used three colors on this card – Seaside Spray, Balmy Blue and Sahara Sand.  This time, I applied them one at a time, starting with the Balmy Blue sea.  I used torn pieces of Whisper White to mask areas.  I added the sand and sky after I was happy with the water.

If you would like a better look at the “Flowering Desert” card I showed at the beginning of my Live, please click here.  That card was made by swiping ink pads across the background cardstock to create a similar look to this baby wipe technique.

This post is meant to supplement last night’s Facebook Live.  Click here to see the Facebook Live video.  If you need any of our fabulous products, click here to shop, or use the carousel below to be directed to a specific product used in today’s projects. Hinged Shaker Panel Card

I made a shaker panel to use as a card front for this bright and cheery birthday card.  There are five Pineapple Punch frames, each cut by nesting the 3 5/8″ and 4 3/8″ long Stitched Rectangle Framelits.  The frames are stacked and adhered together, and there is a Window Sheet sandwiched between the top two.  The greeting is mounted to the Window Sheet.

The back of the shaker panel is cut from designer paper with the 4″ long Rectangle Stitched Framelit, and this piece is adhered over the hinge pieces (see below) after the sequins are added.

The entire shaker panel is attached to the card back with two 3/8″ strips of Window Sheet – these are the hinges mentioned above.  A 4″ long Whisper White Stitched Rectangle hides most of the hinge pieces and serves as the inside panel of the card.

Stacking the rectangle frames gives enough depth for a shaker.

This card uses a handful of great retiring products – the Celebrate You Thinlits, the “Lift Me Up” stamp set and coordinating Up & Away Framelits, and a Spectrum Uninked Pad – did you notice that the hot air balloon is inked with multiple colors?

I inked the balloon in the portion of my Spectrum Pad that is Bermuda Bay, Blueberry Bushel and Gorgeous Grape.  These pads are a fun change of pace!

Thanks so much for checking out my projects!  If you need any of our products,  please click here to shop, or use the carousel below to be directed to an item used on today’s projects.  Retiring products are available while supplies last.

Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a decorated note pad stamp case and a handmade card from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program. I appreciate your orders!

Pop-Up Flower Pot Card

Last night, I showed how to make this easy pop-up 3D flower pot on Facebook Live.  While I had been focusing on retiring items this week, I am happy to say that “Daisy Delight” and the Daisy Punch (used to make these flowers) will be available in the new Annual Catalog.  However, “Petal Palette” (shown in the second example) is on the retiring list.

Here’s a side view.  The flowers are held up by two 1/2″ strips of Window Sheet.

The card folds flat to fit in our standard Medium Envelope.  Complete instructions are in the video, but I have also listed all dimensions below.  If you are receiving this post in an email, please click here for the video.

Base – 4″ squares of Sahara Sand and Floral Romance Designer Paper

Window Sheets – 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 2 3/4″

and 1/2″ x 6 1/2″, scored at 1 3/4″, 4 3/4″

The following pieces are Sahara Sand Cardstock:

Flower Pot – 1 3/4″ x 7 1/2″, scored at 2″, 5 1/2″

and 1/2″ x 8″, scored at 2 1/8″, 5 7/8″

Tab – 1/2″ x 4″, scored at 1″, 2″, 3″

Band – 1″ x 9″, scored at 2 3/8″, 6 1/2″

You can use other flowers or even a stamped image to fill your flowerpot.  Below I have used a stamped image from “Petal Palette”.

Thanks so much for checking out my projects!  I would love to keep bringing you ideas for free on my site, but I need your help!  Please click here to shop, or use the carousel below to be directed to an item used on today’s projects.

Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a decorated note pad stamp case and a handmade card from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program. I appreciate your orders!

Another Farewell

“Petal Palette” and the coordinating Petals & More dies are on the retiring list, and another of the sets I will miss most.  The sketched flowers are perfect for coloring, and there are some really sweet sentiments in the stamp set.

I made an easy background of 1″ x 3 3/4″ Whisper White and Soft Sea Foam strips, lining them up on a 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ Soft Sea Foam mat.  The leaves are stamped in Soft Sea Foam, and I colored the flowers with my Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink Blends.

Thanks so much for visiting my site!  If you need any of our fabulous products, please click here to shop, or use the carousel below to be directed to an item used today.  Make sure you check out the Clearance Rack when you are in the store – it was updated today.

Place an order over $35 with this month’s Hostess Code and you will receive a decorated note pad stamp case and a handmade card from me as a thank you!  Orders over $50 are also eligible for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program. I appreciate your orders!
