Forever Lovely

I am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to get great results with the Forever Lovely Bundle. At first glance, it looked a little fussy and intricate for my taste. However, if you saw my Facebook Live last night, you would have to agree that the two cards I am showing today are actually quite simple. They just look fancy.

My first card is a pocket card, and the pretty die cut edge lines up with the stamped image on the pull-out card. My Stamparatus made this a piece of cake!

The pocket piece is Thick Whisper White, 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″. The top edge of the front is cut with the lacy die. The pull-out card is Whisper White, 4″ x 5 1/4″. I did not adhere the pocket piece together – I simply tied a knot around the folded piece to hold the front and back of the pocket together.

My second card is a standard card with the front panel partially cut away with the detailed edge die.

The designer paper on the inside of the card is from our new All My Love collection. All of these new products are available starting today!

Thank You Notes

Anyone else making thank you notes this week? I am keeping a pile of coloring by the tv during this laid-back holiday week, so of course, I have a bunch of pieces stamped out with this snowman from “Spirited Snowmen”. He’s my favorite guy to color at the moment.

I stamped our precut and scored note cards with “Buffalo Check” in Mint Macaron and Balmy Blue. Note that “Buffalo Check” is carrying over into the new catalog period but “Spirited Snowmen” will not be available after January 2.

The die-cut greeting is from the Well Written Framelits Dies that will be available from the Occasions Catalog starting January 3. These dies are part of a fantastic bundle of 51 stamps and 24 dies!

I wouldn’t say that Christmas is over yet, since we have just entered the twelve days of Christmas. However, even with plenty of days left in our holiday season, I am officially done preparing for Christmas 🙂

As far as my papercrafting goes, I am definitely ready to move on – January means new products and Sale-a-bration. I made these bright and cheery birthday cards with a bunch of new products that you are going to love!

First of all, notice that the Whisper White piece is a Stitched Rectangle. Our Stitched Rectangles will be available in a set of 13 dies. And that lovely greeting? It is from the Well Said bundle of 51 stamps and 24 dies – this bundle is so awesome for all of our greeting and scrapping needs!!

The flower stamps and paper are from the Happiness Blooms Suite. My favorite things from this suite are the Enamel Dots and Bitty Blooms Punch Pack.

This is one of my “go-to” designs when I want to show off designer paper. It’s also a great layout if you need a lot of cards. I used All Is Bright Designer Paper with stamps from “Christmas Pines”.

The base is half a sheet of cardstock, cut diagonally. The designer paper pieces are 4″ x 5 1/4″, cut in half diagonally.

Wood Slice Ornaments

We made some really simple ornaments at our club Christmas party this month. I purchased wood slice ornaments on amazon, and painted them with two coats of a chalkboard paint. Then we added a velvet snowflake die cut with one of the Snowfall Thinlits. If you didn’t purchase these promotional products in November, you could substitute Glimmer Paper cut with another die – perhaps the Blizzard Thinlits.

The greeting is from the annual catalog set “Mistletoe Season”, and it is heat embossed in white on Real Red.

Occasions and SAB 2019 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Trip Achievers Blog Hop for December! You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog (Chris Slogar) or may have come from the person previous to me in the list. This month, we are highlighting products from our upcoming 2019 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogs. I am using “So Hoppy Together”, one of the SAB sets that you can choose for free with a $50 purchase.

This stamp set pairs well with the bright and quirky Happiness Blooms designer series paper that will be available from the Occasions Catalog. I have also used the Bitty Blooms Punch Pack and Enamel Dots from the Happiness Blooms Suite. The greetings are from “Butterfly Gala” and “Itty Bitty Greetings”, and I colored the frogs with my Stampin’ Blends.

The two cards are made from a sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ Lovely Lipstick cardstock, cut in half on the diagonal. I scored the cardstock in half each way before cutting. The designer paper pieces are also cut in half on the diagonal from 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces. I love to use my designer paper this way!
