I used one folding technique to make two very different projects in last night’s Facebook Live, and I was very relieved at the lack of complications in my live video this week! LOL
First up, these cute little favors, made with paper from the Festive Farmhouse collection and sized to hold two Hershey Nuggets.
The taller version uses a piece of designer paper 4″ x 6 7/8″ and the shorter version starts at 4″ x 5 7/8″. Either is scored at 1″ and 3″ on the 4″ side. The taller one is scored at 2 3/4″ and 4 1/8″ on the other side; the shorter one at 2 1/4″ and 3 5/8″.
Though it looks completely different, this note card clutch uses the same folding technique.
Instead of a shallow pocket area as we have in the favors, I created a tall and narrow pocket area for a set of six note cards.
I used an 11″ square piece of designer paper. It is scored on one side at 2 3/4″ and 8 1/4″. On the other side, it is scored at 2 3/4″, 3 1/2″, 7 1/2″, and 8 1/4″. I’ll attach last night’s Facebook Live below in case you need to see the folding technique again.
I made six simple thank you cards using “Dashing Deer” and our precut and scored note cards with envelopes.
As promised, I also want to give the dimensions for this purse project that I made years ago. It used the same technique.
As you can see, it has some added trim pieces, but the base is like the other projects. The designer paper measures 6″ x 6″. It is scored at 1 1/2″ and 4 1/2″ on one side and 2 1/2″ and 3 1/2″ on the other side.
Also as promised, I want to link you to this note card holder from two years ago. It uses the same technique. Click here for the post.
I hope you are seeing how versatile this little pouch fold is. Don’t be afraid to experiment to come up with your own sizes.
