April Showers

“Weather Together” is a great set for any month of the year, but it makes a great seasonal card, too.  This one is a fun fold.

The Smoky Slate base measures 4 1/4″ x 8 1/4″, scored at 2 3/4″.  The Smoky Slate designer papers measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ and 4″ x 2 1/2″.

The folding Sweet Sugarplum piece measures  3 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″.  The Smoky Slate and Whisper White mats are each 3″ x 4″.

The Weather Together Bundle is included in my current Class To Go.  The class includes the bundle and pieces for 6 cards at no additional charge.  Click here for more details.

Don’t forget to shop the Retiring List as soon as possible – tools and accessories are only available while supplies last, and there are some great deals.  Click here to go to the online store.  Order $35 or more, and I will send my current Featured Card.  Orders over $50 also qualify for a Buckeye Point in my Loyalty Rewards Program.

Have a great weekend!

Easter Throwbacks

I found some cards that I made for Easter in my early days of papercrafting…

Do you remember any of the products from these days?  I think I made them around 2003, so I also found an Easter picture of me and my girls from 2003…

Jen is on the right – she and her dolls were inseparable.  Julia is in yellow – showing off Clifford and the Scooby Doo watch that was in her Easter Basket.  It seems like more than 14 years have passed, but then again, it seems like this was just yesterday.  Funny how time is like that.

Have a great day!

Weather Together Class To Go

I chose the Weather Together Bundle for my April Class To Go because I really like the range of events it can cover.  The cards in my class reflect this – a summery beach card, a stormy encouragement card, and a shower card.  Not only is it versatile in terms of events, it is great with all colors – brights, pastels, neutrals.  I think you’ll enjoy it!

For the cost of the bundle and shipping, you will have the supplies you need to make six great cards, two each of the three designs shown.

In order to comply with Stampin’ Up! rules, I must take orders before obtaining product for the class.  I will take orders through Wednesday, April 19, or until I reach capacity.  At that point, I will order product and create kits.  The kits will ship out to you no later than Friday, April 28.

Here’s what’s included:

Weather Together Stamp Set

Umbrella Weather Framelits

Materials to make six cards, pre-cut, scored, and embossed as necessary

Six Envelopes

Illustrated instructions with dimensions

You will need:

Assorted Ink Pads (I used Flirty Flamingo, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate and Archival Basic Gray)

Big Shot

The class cost is based on the retail price of the bundle with tax and shipping for me to receive the materials.  I have also added a $7.20 priority mail cost for shipping to you once I have added the class materials.  There is no additional cost for the card materials and instructions.

Weather Together Class To Go     $55.00

To get this bundle and class, please email me at buckeyeinklingsorders@gmail.com to receive a Paypal invoice for the Class To Go Kit.

Big Numbers

It’s great to have these big numbers to highlight milestone birthdays – especially when the number is high!  I also love the flowers that come with the “Number of Years” stamp set – I have done them here in Wild Wisteria, Rose Red, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron.  I think they are perfect for the spring birthday of my dear friend’s Mother.

 Have a great day!

It happens every year…so many products on the chopping block to make way for the new!  There are deals to be had, but quantities are limited.  Retiring tools and accessories are available while supplies last.  Stamps will be produced until May 22.  After May 22, stamps will also be available only while supplies last.  Shop now for the best selection!

Jar of Love Pocket Card

I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to make the pocket for this pocket card.  I love the size.  It fits in our Medium (A2) Envelope so it is easy to mail.  The jar and flowers are made with the Jar of Love bundle.

I repeated a few of the stamps on the pull-out notecard.

I would love to send you one of these cards.  Order $35 or more from my online store through the end of May, and I will send you one of these pocket cards with an envelope – blank and free of creator markings, ready for your use.  It makes a perfect spring greeting for Mother’s Day, a birthday, or any other occasion.  Orders over $50 also qualify for a Buckeye Point in my Loyaltay Rewards Program.

Stop back later today for the Retiring List – it will be available to Demonstrators at 3pm EST, and I will post it as soon as possible!

Have a great Monday!

Lift Me Up Note Card Set

I often use the precut and scored Whisper White note cards, but did you know that they also come in Crumb Cake?  Either way, a pack of 20 with envelopes costs $6, and they are great to have on hand.  You can make note sets so easily with them.

I made these with the Lift Me Up bundle and designer paper from the Neutrals and 2016-2018 In Colors stacks.  There are so many great greetings in the stamp set – including these that are perfect for my note cards.

The note cards measure 3 1/2″ x 5″, so I cut the background designer paper to 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″.  I used ovals from the Stitched Shapes and Layering Ovals collections.  The Dapper Denim strip is 1″ wide, embossed with the Seaside embossing folder.

This is my favorite little tote bag to make.  I made an instructional video for it a couple of years ago, and I will attach it here in case you are not familiar with this tote.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Have a great weekend!

Bunny Treats

My Bunny Treats were designed around a super-cute Ghirardelli chocolate I found at the grocery store.  I am sure there are many other treats that would fit, too, but these bunnies are perfect for Easter.

The wrap is very simple; it starts as a 2″ x 9 1/2″ rectangle. I have used three of our 2016-2018 In Colors here – Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Sweet Sugarplum.  Aren’t they perfect for spring?

Check out the video for more details.

Cardstock 2″ x 9 1/2″, scored at 1/2″, 1 1/2″, 2 1/2″, 3″, 6″, 6 1/2″

Designer Paper 1 5/8″ x 2 5/8″

Whisper White 1 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
